Misadventures at Bally's Atlantic City

Not the first nightmare story I heard about Claridge.
SIL got an offer for tickets room and food to The Price is Right Show at Bally. SIL and daughter go, check in and get Claridge Tower. They go to room and her words were " it looked like a convention of male porn stars hanging in the hallway"
She went back to check in, they said that was the room with the offer. She said no thanks turned in the key and drove home.

I have made it clear, in no uncertain terms (to my host) that I will NOT stay at Bally's AC unless they guarantee a (room) 'block' for me.

They are finally doing that for me. Which is pretty funny, since they spent the last year telling me that it was 'impossible' to have rooms pre-blocked...

I'll take Dennis or Garden Tower; preferring Dennis smoking 6th floor, that requires no use of elevators... since nobody should have to ever deal with Bally's elevators. (exception, to the Garden Tower).

I probably shouldn't be chuckling at your misfortune, but not having been subjected to the "issues" you endured, your report has cheered my day!

Ballys in NJ, Ballys in LV - have definite similarities. I was booked into a South Tower Ballys room next to the elevator shaft two trips ago. The 10-ton elevator shrieking up and down 10 feet away from my head all night almost drowned out the fornicating degenerates in the next adjoining room. Next time - if there is a next time, and assuming that Ballys NJ has an elevator -- perhaps you could request the shaft room. Sounds like they would oblige.

I would definately send a copy of your post to the manager at Bally's. Maybe you will get another shot at a decent stay if you do and a nice dinner!!!!

Sometimes it really pays to complain.

$100 to spend at 6ix? Is that possible? I think that would be equivalent to spending $100 at McDonalds. lol.

Sorry to read about your wasted night out but I enjoyed the writing! It can't hurt to complain --- they are pushing to be *liked* on FB. Wonder if they would leave a negative post up.
