Mustangs take Las Vegas part 2

Saturday morning C and I wake up after 8:30 only to find out that G&R have stayed out all night and just went to bed at 6:00. R was propositioned by a lady of the evening while playing quarters at ballys somewhere close to 3:00. He thought it was funny. G & R walked to Excalibur and played some, then went and wandered through MGM and ate at Wolfgang Puck and posted on FB through all their exploits. The texted us and said they were going to bed and would let us all know when they were up and about. C and I got ready to go and L & P were ready about 10:30 so we head to the coffee shop at Bellagio for breakfast. As we walked up there was a line, I told them to follow me, and we got in the gold card line and were seated immediately. 2 of us ordered pancakes and the other 2 ordered eggs Benedict. We were all happy with our meal. Next stop, $5 top dollar. I explained to L my hubby's rule that if someone walks off after hitting the bonus you have to play that machine. In the bank of 8 machines, 4 were left after hitting the bonus. I wasn't going to play all 4 machines so I picked one and put $100 in. L said, ok, I'll do $100 on the one next to you. I play a few spins and get a small bonus. She hits a bonus after a few Spins and hits a $400 bonus. She plays awhile and cashes out with $400..... Come to the dark side I tell L.

Time for some adult beverages. We walk over to then Linq and go get our tix for the high roller for that night. I had 2 free for my diamond free shows, C had a BOGO since she's platinum and I had $5 off the other 2 tix so had our 6 tix for that nights ride. We ended up stopping at the outdoor bar beside O'Sheas. They had something called some sort of a fireball thing that was some sort of slushy peach drink with cinnamon liquor, yuck, but the bartender said she could put rum in it and make it like a daiquiri, sold, we'll take 2, a Guiness and a Bloody Mary. C's Bloody Mary was one of the best I've tasted and P's Guiness was poured correctly (so P explained to me) and was really good. We sat and visited for quite awhile and around 2:30 the sleepy heads woke up. When we got back to ballys it was time to go play KISS mini golf. We took a suburban to hard rock, big mistake, it cost more than 2 cabs would have. Oh well, live and learn. We saw the guitar player from Journey signing autographs at hard rock and then grabbed a snack at the coffee shop, then it was time for some putt putt. We had 2 groupons so we had 2 extra tickets. there was a lady and two teenage kids just sort of looking around so we asked them if they'd like the 2 free tickets so they would only have to pay for one if they all wanted to play. They said yes and played behind us. We laughed so hard, it really is cheesy. The animatronic band has seen better days. Poor Eric Singer only had one hand and the other hand had no drum stick. Tommy Thayer just looked like he was stuck I'm a squat. Gene Simmons head just seemed to turn from right to left and Paul Stanley couldn't even stand up straight, thus creating my best imitation to date...."poor Paul Stanley". Every time the band came to life I'd lean over then whip my head back then whip my head forward then back again. We laughed so hard we almost wet ourselves. We didn't keep score as 4 of the 6 of us are avid golfers so let's just say I lost! We took lots of pictures and really had fun. In their gift shop they had a toilet seat cover that had Gene Simmons on it and I told R that it was sort of like a bidet, you open the top, his tongue sticks out and wipes your hiney. G and I really had R going and almost had him convinced I was telling the truth, then he realized that would be gross and I couldn't be serious. We cabbed it back to ballys in 2 cabs and got back about 6. We had reservations for dinner at Carmine's in the forum shops at 7:30'but we decided we wanted to rest a little so we moved the res to 8. Everyone came to our room at 7 so we visited then at 7:30 we head to Caesars. Carmine's was excellent. It is all family style and it was the perfect amount of food for 6 of us. We started with calamari, then had chicken Marsala, spaghetti bolgenase and broccoli. We had 3 bottles of Sangiovese and then canollis for dessert, had to have dessert, it was L's bday! After we ate I told them I had to play the $5 top dollar in the high limit room at Ceasars so we head that way. There was someone on the machine I wanted to play but we found another one. I put hubby's $200 in, the I put $100 in of mine and when had $10 left I hit a bonus and won $760 so I cashed out. L said " you know the rule, can't leave that machine after a bonus" so she puts $100 in and hits the bonus on the very next spin and wins $250 so she cashed out. Come to the darks side L, I say again.

Next stop the high roller. It was interesting but I'm not sure I'd do it again unless I'm in the bar cart. It was a pretty view at night though. After the high roller we head back to Ballys and go on our gambling ways. I taught
L how to play high card flush and we played awhile, not winning anything. C, L and P all turned in around 12:30 and I went up around 1:15. There was a guy and girl about 5 doors past my room that were dealing with a drunk and pretty much passed out girl. From what I could hear I think drunky mcdrunk was the guys sister. He kept trying to pull her up and every time he did he pulled her skirt up to her head. Not sure if they ever got her on her feet, I went in my room and crashed pretty quickly. I like to sleep with the sheers closed but the drapes open so I can watch the sun come up, my roomie was crashed both nights so I don't think she cared!

Sunday funday, more tomorrow.
That's very nice that you had a group trip to LV to hang around and have fun with several friends! Especially with the KISS Mini Golf expedition.

Thanks for posting this and I'm looking forward to reading more of your adventures!
