My trip report 11/30-12/03

We left San Diego at 12:30pm and arrived in Vegas at 5pm. The winds were pretty crazy going through the desert. We stayed at THEhotel. Check in was painless, the hotel was beautiful. Valet is awesome! The nice young lady put us on the 15th with a strip view. Our room was THEsuite, so it was very nice. Two restrooms, 2 flat screen tv's. This was an actual suite, so there were two separate rooms. Overall it was very nice.

Day one, we went to eat at the Red White Blue restaurant in the Mandalay Bay. The food was excellent. The place had great service and was very clean. After dinner we headed back to the room and hung out. I wasn't feeling very well, i thought I was coming down with a cold, so we watched tv and turned in.

Day 2: We headed out at about 12pm. We went to PH and had the buffet. I used the LVA coupon without issues. The buffet was NOT the same as the one I had 2 years ago. It was overall ok, but nothing to write home about. We then hung out at the Miracle Mile shops and did some shopping. We then headed to TI to do some gambling at a slot maching called "cash time" which a friend of mine swore that it always paid out. Most it paid out was $20, but then took it all back.

After that we ended up looking for a CVS so we could get a few things for our room(snacks, drinks, chapstick etc..). We went back to our room to hang out. We headed back out to Cesars Palace to do some shopping and get some desert, also put an hour in of gambling. We ended up seeing some new show that was held in the middle of the shops by the big aquarium. It was very cool! Cosmopolitan was on our agenda next.

At Cosmo we ended up walking around, did some gambling and checked out some restaurants for the next trip out. We then headed back to our hotel and did some gambling at Mandalay Bay. We turned in for the night after the gambling.

Day 3: We headed out at about 11:30 and had breakfast at a pancake house on Decature and Charleston. We had the best pancakes in our lives here. The service was good and the food was amazing!

After breakfast we headed to the Palms. We had never been there. Did some gambling on the he-haw machine. It was fun, we weren't impressed with Palms though. We then headed to the Wynn. Checked out the Ferrari store and dealer. Very cool!! I love the Wynn, we actually spent some time in the casino.

We headed back to our room for a change of clothes and some hang out time. The Bellagio buffet was next. We drove to Bellagio and stood in line for the buffet. Line wasn't bad, about a 15 minute wait. It was 6:30 pm when we arrived in line. The Bellagio buffet was by far the best buffet we have ever eaten in our lives!! Next trip we will try Wynn buffet.

After the buffet we walked around Bellagio and took some pics where thier Christmas theme was. It was very nice. We then walked off to the outdoor escalators that lead to the strip. Also watched the fountain show from the bridge, which was an awesome view. We walked on the strip for a little while, but then went back to Bellagio to pick up the truck. It was pretty cold out and still windy.

This was our one year anniversary trip for my girlfriend and I. Overall we had fun and can't wait to go back in March 2012!!

I'll add pics later.
