We stayed at this property 3 years ago when I played in the WSOP. Use my wife's timeshare. We enjoyed it and liked the convenience to the casino. Would stay there again!

Wow, great report Westie. Looks like the German Bread Bakery is a must stop for us in a couple of weeks. Pastries have there own food group in my world.

I hope you enjoy the bakery, but keep in mind some German desserts are not as sweet as we are used to. I agree about the pastries being its own food group. LOL

I was fortunate enough to work at a school in a small German Mennonite community my first two years of teaching. (twenty some odd years ago). Ladies from the local bakery actually worked in the school cafeteria in the mornings and they always had fresh German baked goods. Wow! The good ol' days.

I'm sure that would violate the new school health policies as our baked goods now are awful in the schools.....LOL. No white flour, no butter, and very little sugar.
