Self parked in Caesar’s- the other thing I obsessed about was getting a nice suite.. at check in, the checkingling said they were out! out of suites due to the HBO people promoting Empire Boardwalk..tap tap..wait she’s got a mini-suite,,,no no that’s taken too. Crapballs.
I settle for Centurion Tower, no bathtub at ALL and even that is not ready at 11:15 am. Big stage lights and a 2o foot story sign reading BOARDWALK EMPIRE in the lobby, Flappers around.
Stu Merrian is on the way. We bell check and I start showing him the roads.. Toga Bar.. here, these Ultimate X and STP machine are my default places if you can’t find me- boardwalk, poker room, escalator, High Limits area. Got it? No? Then stick w/ me.
Stu finds us- he’s got a $25.00 RC voucher that’s Louie’s but showing the CE card wasn’t enough- they needed ID- which Stu had in the car but he worried that he’s not Lou.
I gave him a pep talk about how to act only slightly annoyed, bored and normal. I swear, he’s as much as a boy scout as TB is- he fretted , hemmed and hawed. I told him they wouldn’t look at the photo, just wanted to see if the names matched fer Gawd sake.
He came back triumphant and thrilled at his deception. Even engaged in conversation w/ an attendant who apologized, mentioning how other people,,..bad people, in fact; scoundrels, are using vouchers that aren’t theirs.
I pushed NN into the fire as I found 2 STP machines open which were next to each other- set him up w/ nickel DDB, then Joker and explained every hand while playing mine. I can do this no problem. Then an Ultimate X machine opened up on the other side, I nabbed it. Stu came back and I asked him to take NN to single line JOB and to explain what Stu was doing which helped me focus on my game. Sometimes it helps to have someone else explain the exact same thing in a different way and single line is clearer to understand.

I had a new glitter in a candy baby bottle which bled the blue candy nipple (it lights up!) and it exploded all over my hands when I tried to open it- on me and the slant top machine- My hands hardened to a shell much like candied apple glaze or the blue meth Walter and Jesse make on Breaking Bad as the hand sanitized helped it dry quickly on my hands.. stick. stick. sticky…crapballs!
Napkins only stuck to it so I played slightly hysterical until Stu came back and I showed him what was up.
They held my machine until I could wash. I lost $60.00.
We were off to the parking garage to Harrah’s where I lost $100.00 showing NN Quick Quads..Grrr. Stu had just left the Diamond Cove/ off to Craps table but I tried a hundred in $ DB and got 4 Kings- Yay! NN watched. Cashed in, found Stu and screamed 4/5/6 until he seven-ed out. Off to Borgata
We agreed to play lone-wolf for 20 minutes until Brunch Buffet. NN and I both visited the bathroom/ saw a lady waiting to receive a hand pay on penny Stinkin’ Rich for $1408.79 ~~wow. I high fived her…

Packed up, brushed teeth (had the room an extra night.) Counted the money, I had lost $700.00 this morning.
Maybe down $300.00 of my stake.
Totally acceptable.
So happy Norman didn’t get hurt.
So very happy he could hang.. he hung in there- kept an open mind.. Even enjoyed himself… he’s a quick study- just didn’t get the difference between Joker Poker and Joker KB…and he sees why I’m so gosh-darn tired after a time in casinos. We had no traffic. Saw 4 or 5 police nabbing speeders but got home safe by 5pm.
