new trip no notes

last part.

it's sunday. i am leaving monday. woke up 8:00-ish. went to breakfast in the cafe at orleans.
had omelet and toast. can't ruin this. really loud customer over my right shoulder with profanity.
staff should talk to him.

retrieved car from valet. as soon as i left i knew i should have dressed warmer. it was in
the 60's but with a strong wind off the mountains.

headed downtown. parked at main street. you need to put so many points through for free parking.
just valet it for $3.

walked downtown thru the Cal. it's cold. walked to el cortez just because. tried to find the mystery
bar but it was way too early. the zip line was closed this early or not open yet.

the pool at golden nugget was not open due to the cold.

had my deep fried twinky at mermaids. tradition. ate half. went across to dupars and wanted shrimp but not after 1/2 twinky. plus dupars was packed. good for them.

walked back through california to main street.

played and lost.

now the best part of my trip.

i went to have a few beers at the main street brew bar. i know it's called something, but once again i am too lazy to look it up.

sat and was watching college basketball when a gent and gal sit to my left. started talking to him to my immediate left amy, his wife, is two left. i don't care what his name is right now. they are from jacksonville, florida. she is a personal banker. john says he is a retired principal. i am who i am. enough about us.

we started out just watching college basketball and the merits of the coaches, players, etc.

we talk. john starts with people don't believe how old he is. he doesn't look it, blah, blah.
i bite and say i am 60. he tells me he's 63 and Amy is 42, also, she is his 4th wife. okay.
he mentioned some stuff i didn't listen to about his three exes and amy's kids. oh. her ex husband does not
like him. duh...

during beers he mentions that she has a nice body. i look over and say i will trust him but i
won't stare.

main street had just tapped their burbon scotch ale beer after three years. it's a beer that's aged in burbon kegs. i tried a few ounces. when it was bottled it was 6%. after tapping it was over 11.

back to story. amy was drinking these. i am still drinking with john. now it is time for me to leave.
i stand up and john says to amy why don't you show him your boobs. with no hesitation she lifts
up her shirt to reveal the two most wonderful breasts i have seen in person.

okay. i tap john on the shoulder and thank him. i put my arm around her and tell her she's my
newest bestest friend but i have to go. the guy next to pulled out his phone/camera but was too late.

left and met brent at ellis island. i had the 2 for 1 ribs. also the 3 drinks with lva coupon. all was very good.

dropped him off on street north of bally's. i iwent to orleans. gambled craps/bj/vp. lost.

was in room by 11:00. packed and in bed.

bad trip gambling. won first 20 hours and nothing after that.
i think we are leaving harrahs and moving to mlife, just more/better odds games. on our trip they will give
you a fair time to gamble. monte was a very nice place to stay.

Thanks, Wayne for the finale to your report!

Sorry to read about all of your losing and I have to agree that at least for low end players, MLife can offer better stuff over Harrah's/Caesar's connected stuff. Having a fair time to gamble I think is an important thing (at least if you are mostly there for gaming), and so having better game rules and machine returns at least increases the chances of your being able to play for a longer amount of time.

I think also that there is better lower end gaming in Downtown LV (even though you lost there this time) and so especially if you are looking to have a better chance of being able to play for a longer period of time, maybe you should look more into playing and staying there although this can depend on what game(s) you are playing. At least Blackjack and VP can be a lot better Downtown (look at https://www.vpfree2.com to see which casino has what in Video Poker and know that I'd recommend that you not play on any VP game where the casino advantage is any lower than 99.1% and for Blackjack, I wouldn't want to play at any game where the casino's advantage is any higher than 0.42%). For Blackjack rules offerings and casino advantages (and please know that rules not only differ from one casino to another, they also differ from one table to another even within the same casino), you can check with the "Las Vegas Blackjack Survey" link which you get to by going to: https://wizardofvegas.com and then from there, go to the Las Vegas Blackjack Survey link.

Otherwise, although nothing is guaranteed, games that offer higher casino advantages can just cause whatever game you are playing on to be harder to win at.

As for it being cold, LV can definitely get cold and windy in March. I'm always prepared for that but I definitely hate the winds because they tend to set off my Sinuses.

As for Main Street Station, I think that the place is called the 777 Brew Pub.

it's 4-29. i went to jeremiah's mom's site. it says it was a non-military death.
no wonder why his mom is wondering what's up.
