Got up and moved down to The hotel. Got the basic suite and its pretty nice. Only paying $75 a night cant really complain. Ended up at hash house a go go for brunch. It was good, never been really impressed with them but was better then the last time I was there. Walked the strip for a bit then headed back to the room. We relaxed for a for a bit and showered up. We go tickets to see the tournament of kings for 830 pm had about 3 hours to kill so we headed to gamble. My friend had been learning about craps and wanted to play. Found a $5 table at excalibur. He bought in for $40 and I went in for $80. We had some ups and downs then we had a shooter get HOT. It was great. I ended up cashing out for $160 and my friend with $144. After that I hit up a Bj switch with $5min. I bought in for $60 and played for about 45 mins. After that I was up $60 and called it quits since the time for the show was coming up. So cashed out for $120. The tournament of kings show was good. It was about the same as I remember it from 8 years ago. My friend had a good time too.
Ended up winning $140 for the day. I am still amazed everytime I come to town at the amount of kids that are on the strip. All in all it was a good day and we got a lot done. Its an early morning tomorrow. Have to catch the tour bus at 645am for the hoover dam. So far the newbie has had a good time and seems to be learning a lot about vegas.
