Went on VIP junket to Harrahs Atlantic City March 16-18.
Couldn't hit anything. No fun when the machines just suck down the money. We've all had a bad day on a gambling trip but when everyday goes south it really takes the fun out of it.
Instead of giving you the piss, moan and groan how about just the few positive things:
(The New) Mrs. Blade won the $10 bill bag of money drawing on the junket flight from Charlotte to Atlantic City. You write your seat number on a bill, drop it in the bag and they draw one out, most junkets play this on $5, $10, $20 and some $100 bills. We've taken 3 junkets to AC and she has won a drawing on every flight!
Hit two 4oaks on $1 VP
Had some nice meals in the Harrahs & Caesars Diamond Lounges.
Went over to Caesars on Saturday and hit this for $1,500:

Mrs. Blade pulled several $100 TITOs out of a Blazing-7 $1 Slot (we put it ALL back in).
It was St. Patrick's Day and we saw many people dressed up in green, some really went all out. We left our lucky green outfits at home. Missed the parade on the Boardwalk, guess they still have it?
Nice high room in the Waterfront Tower, was a foggy weekend so not much view but that's OK because you can always find other things to do when your bankroll limit is gone for the evening.
Was very temping to hit the ATM or Credit Card cash advance that are so conveniently accessible in the casinos. But I've learned a lot about discipline on LVA and from fellow members.
It's all about not letting the losses get you down and trying to keep that positive attitude. Take your entertainment dollars not your rent money to casinos, expect to loose everything you bring and accept it. We'll be back on another junket next month and get our money back.... WITH INTEREST!!!
Here's my real treasure... snapped this picture of Mrs. Blade as we were getting on the little jet.

Be grateful for what you got.
Play for fun but keep your head so you don't loose your rear.
