Noahcat & the Plumber.
This was the reason for my quickie trip Tues-Thurs.
Flew in Tues morning, after Dollar rental car, went to Ballys to register for VP tourney.
This ended up being a loss leader, as I didn’t have time to actually DO it.
Went to Harrahs to Check in. First room I got was a Jr. Suite in Carnival tower,
But there were ashtrays around, so I knew it was a smoking room……….called down to Diam.
Check in, and lady says………you’re only going to be here a couple nights, right? I said Yes.
She said, Ok, come down & I’ll give you keys to a much better suite.
Was moved to Mardi Gras Tower & OMG, didn’t know Harrahs had remodeled those upper Floors
over there. Very NICE. One BR suite with EXCELLENT View of the Strip. My room was 20th floor,
end of hall (as usual) but practically on top of Mirage volcano. Lol
3:00 Went to Rental house to meet the Plumber, and was given an estimate for
replacing the main Valve, etc. in the garage…..it was wayyyy broken. Dang.
Good news, he can do the work tomorrow. Bad news, he will arrive at 8:30am.
Good news, I gave him garage door code, and he can start without me. Lol
After the Plumber, was able to hook up with Noahcat & Tennisbum too, over at Sunset Station.
‘Cat was staying there, and I think Bum had just checked into Gold Coast.
‘Cat will have to fill in some of the blanks for me………like, did we eat? Lol
I don’t think so………think we only played at SS til time to hit the hay. Yep that’s it.
Saw her room, and was pleasantly surprised. Other than Long walk to get to the Hotel rooms,
I thought SS was Nice! Enjoyed playing there too.
We had a blast on the STP, Double, whatever……….I think Bum got more multipliers than WE did.

Wed. morning, I had a 7am wake up call. She called at 8:00, but I didn’t realize that til about 8:20,
when I was trying to make coffee………Yikes, I gotta Go!
Made it to the Rental house about 9:30am, and Plumber was well underway.
Well, he worked hard til about 1:30, when I paid him, and then I went to Loews
to get a few things for the house.
Came back & did a few more chores around there, til making my way (pooped out) back to Harrahs.
‘Cat & Bum were planning to meet me back over there, and see my Room later.
‘Cat calls me as I’m laying down in the room.
My Back was sore from overdoing it at the house.
We visit a bit, then I get a hankering to go Play.
Finally to Harrahs Casino I go, and find my Fav. Machine is still there, and nobody is on the row.
Yay, I got my Fav 3/5/10 play machine, and lots of room..….Ahhhhh
Start out playing 3 play quarters, and jumping around trying different games too.
Try some 5 play………..hold 3 to the Royal, and catch One!!!
Yay, that pays for the plumber! Lol This trip is looking up.
Cash out, and put a couple twenties in……….eats it up.
Attempt to use one of my hundys it was spitting out earlier, and the machine finally
decides to Take it. Ok, lets try 10 play DDB for a few hands…….
This is where it gets Exciting…………first hand a stinker,
hmmmm, can’t do 10 play for long on a hundy…….. Machine decides to cooperate……….
It DEALS me ACES & KICKER ON 10 PLAY!!!!

I WON 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!
Funny thing is………..it Didn’t Lock up! I had to Hold the Aces & 2.
I just said OMG, out Loud, Held the cards, and hit Draw.
Machine Locks up, Call Attendant…………Woo HOoooooooooo!!!!
I immediately Take a picture and email to ‘Cat, & Hubby at home.
Then I Text ‘Cat to Come Soon!!! Come SEE!!!
She texts me back, that they are at Orleans, but ON THE WAY!!! LOL
HOW she and Bum got there so quickly?
I don’t know, but she found me
Before Harr. Paid me off…………well, I did ask for “Check Please”
So that takes alittle Longer. Lol
So, GLAD they got to SEE. ‘ Cat gave me a big hug, and Bum stood there staring in disbelief,
with the biggest Smile on his face. YEAH, my friends got to See!
Well, after the excitement, and getting my check, the 3 of us play side-by-side for a short time,
then I go show them the room. (Also remember to Check in on my phone for Flight tomorrow 5pm.)
I’m only in town, 2 nights this trip. Quicke!
TennisBum was chuckling cuz my room is ALWAYS at the END of the Hall. Always! Lol
I think ‘Cat & Bum were surprised to see a NICE room at Harrahs,
let alone in the Mardi Gras Tower.

But was so nice & Quiet up there, with floor to ceiling windows………..
’Cat liked the Tub, and climbed in to size it up. Lol Too bad she didn’t stay to enjoy it,
cuz I never did……It was a nice room though……….
Time to say our Good-byes for the night.
‘Cat is headed back to SS, and will see her in the morning for freebie Stations Buffet.
Bum gonna meet us too.
I head back down to the Casino, and begin to plunk around alittle.
Try some dollar Prog. But its not hitting, try STP, but my multipliers ain’s showin’ up.
So I head back to MY machine again. Begin 3/5 play, and short stint on 10 play again……..
I drop a couple hundys……….eventually back to 5 play DDB,
hold 3 cards to the Royal again……………and get ONE Again! Holy Crap!!!
Take another picture, and can’t remember if I emailed it? Happened so fast, but I cash out again,
OH, This royal wasn’t a Sequential, BUT THE FIRST ONE WAS.
That was the shocker……….IF I had been playing the Seq. bank along the wall,
I would have made 15k instead of a grand, but I’ll take it.
Think that’s only the 3rd Sequential I’ve gotten in 17+ years of playing….they don’t happen often, for sure.
Had one more very Lucky hand that night…………on 10 play, Dealt Queens!!
What a Fantastic Day of Play this was. More than paid for’da Plumber, and more for Bank of America. Lol
Finish for the night at Midnight. Pull out my card. I’m almost up to 4k for the year already.
Don’t think Diam. Will be a problem this year…….
Next morning, I wake up in a blurr……….takes me half an hour to make coffee and I’m putzing in the room………
’Cat texts me if 9:30 is good for breakfast buffet?
I say No…..I need alittle more time…………plus, I wanna make a BofA Deposit on the way over there,
cuz I don’t like Flying with all this money………
Get checked out on the TV, zero bal. Easy peasy.
Out to the Car, (Ford Focus) and start driving towards SS.
Find a BofA on Eastern, and go in to make a Deposit.
Thank goodness I always carry a couple Dep. Slips with me,
cuz Out of state transactions can take longer if you don’t.
Get to SS about 10:30, and ‘Cat texts shes starving, meet at Buffet entrance. Okie.
What a nice buffet. Another pleasant surprise at SS. And it was FREE, thank you Stations coupie.
‘Cat had a Room key for Line pass, so we got right in. Thanks!
Coffee pot already on the table………….all is right with the world………
Had a really nice visit, and ate little bits of everything………..Decided we should be called The A Team,
since we seem to bring each other Good Luck!
I won’t tell you the Exciting HIT that Tennisbum did………..Don’t want to spoil the surprise……..
but lets just say hes the KING of Penny VP!!!!
Wish I could have gotten there soon enough to get a picture of it, but the machine was already cleared. Darn.
But still……………terrific story, so he’s gotta write a TR and tell it himself.
Naysayers………….Good things CAN Happen! Especially With Glitter!
Bum was heading out, so ‘Cat and I played for awhile, til it was time for her to check out & we hit
the road for Ballys………..her Next check in place.
We head straight there, and Valet, head to Diam. Check in.
‘Cat gets a great view room without my help.
We head up there, and she unloads while I go downstairs to play til she comes downstairs.
Time is flying by………’Cat goes to play her Ballys Freeplay……….comes back,
Bum has arrived for round 2, and I’m getting ready to hit the road.
I’m watching the clock, time to leave about 3:00.
Say goodbyes to the gang, and ‘cat walks with me out to Valet.
Big hugs, time to drive the Focus back to Rental car return. Sigh.
What a Fun, Lucky, Trip and got Lots accomplished at the house.
Felt like a Very Successful trip, and so much Fun to spend time with ‘Cat.
And Bum puts up with us. Lol
Get home that night, pooped out, but Happy.
