Last day in Vegas, always very sad. Morning conference, this portion of the conference kind of dragged. Anyways done by 11:00, checked out, checked bags and headed over to the Gold Coast and Ping Pang Pong for some very tasty and very cheap Dim Sum! Great stuff and very inexpensive. Five of us ate until we were absolutely stuffed and it was under $100 including tip. The group headed over to the craps table to bet the money we won the night before. I headed over to the B Connected desk to get $10 in freeplay from the LVA. They told me that I needed to run $10 through before they loaded $10 on to my card. I looked around for a quarter machine, but was in a hurry so that I could join my group shooting craps, so I played on a .50 machine right next to the desk. First deal? 4OAK! It was JoB, so it was only $62.50, but that is always a fun way to start. I played three more hands and got the $10 loaded on to my card and played it through at the bar. Got a beer and turned the $10 freeplay into $6.25 real money. Headed to the craps table where one of our friends had started rolling and was 15 minutes into a 30 minute roll. Granted, the GC dealers are very slow, but it was a great roll that turned $70 into $450 playing the pass line, two come line numbers, with double odds at a $5 table! In other words, she made some people a bunch of money! When she started shooting, no one else was on the table. By the time she finished, it was packed. That's why craps is so much fun! We blew a small portion of our winnings at a $5 BJ table with favorable rules, but a very green non-native english speaking dealer. It was a little painful, small mistakes, no glib patter, but good rules at a low stakes table. We left after an hour or so. The cabbie took us on some crazy back route to the MO, that was actually kind of fun. Got our bags and headed to the airport. SWA was delayed a bit, but not too bad.
Overall a great trip. Lots of great food, relaxed time with the spouse and friends, winning gambling, the high roller, Tim Allen, fun, fun, fun! Thanks for reading!
