NYE in Laughlin and a Vegas Quickie

Thanks for the report.
We often have the same experience with some of the slot machines- we end up winning but don't know how it happened.

Paul and Sonya from Iowa
Nice pics, Lisa.
Especially the big smile on Mr. Twiddles' face.

Enjoyed the shortest Vegas trip with you and the others.

Your taste for better wine could be the 'fault' of the people
you hang out with. Once you try better wine you can never
drink that stuff they serve on the casino floor.

I find the cocktail servers at Harrahs Laughlin to be very flexible. No trouble being served Coppola which is very drinkable.
Hope to meet up with you soon, Lisa too, of course!!!
Friends need to stick together!
Then there is the Dan sort of wine which you can
never get on the casino floor!!!!!

at least NOT in Laughlin, LOL.
you can get a split of Korbel though.

Friedmush, that's good to know.

My PSA for the day. . . stay away from the house merlot at Harrahs Laughlin and Harrahs Ak-Chin. You will thank me later.

Thanks for the TR from Laughlin. The pictures were very nice. That party was very nice and the meal looked great.

I enjoyed junkets to Laughlin for many years. I had some wonderful times with my Mom there when they had some great VP. We haven't been to Laughlin in several years until Jan. 16 which was our Laughlin quickie from Vegas. I had an offer for $75 cash so we drove there and spent the night. Unlike you, we had great weather. They had a power outage when we arrived late afternoon. Luckily we got a room right away, but no lights to see other than the hallways. They were using little lanterns at the diamond registration and no computers. The machines were working in the non-smoking casino on generator, but had a couple of outages. It was restored after a couple hours, but kinda ruined the experience. We had planned to go to the DL, but didn't happen because of the outage.
Nice Trip Report Lisa

Thanks for taking the time to write and share.
