Overdue TR ..with pics

I spent a week at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Boulevard.  Say what you will about timeshares but I've become spoiled by having the whole condo-unit thingy with living room, full kitchen and master suite.     Its hard to go back to standard hotel rooms once you get used to these.

I have a new tradition to smack down my jet lag upon arrival.    A couple powerful tiki drinks at Frankies.

They have a cool jukebox that does not offer top-40 music but rather old Burlesque tunes and obscure surfer bands.      

I had a few good hits on the machines.   I'm still a royal flush virgin (and a real virginr too!)   I'm just saving myself for the right machine  (and person).

When's the last time you saw one of these old gals?    They still hav one at Casino Royal...and I scored a nice little hit.

The Sub Challenge.

Standard Cheesesteak at Cappriotti's vs the Royal Sub at Johny Mac's in Henderson.   They are both awesome but the winner goes to Johny Macs mainly because its next to impossible to find Royal Subs outside Buffalo, NY.     

The diet-busting dessert case at Jerry's Famous Coffee Shop.

The not-so-secret pizza at Cosmopolitan.     I honestly dont get it.   Pizza Rock is much cheaper and has bigger slices.

How I spent my food voucher at El Cortez.   Bannana Nut french toast.      Bring an insulin shot.

From the (great) photos, it looks like you got around a lot during your vacation.  Great food porn, far too many years have come and gone since my last cheesesteak.  You also renewed my interest in seeking out a tiki room in Las Vegas.  Thanks for the report.
