Paris- Bellagio, solo

I just returned from five days in my favorite place to be. I normally go to Vegas 2-3 times a year but due to family illnesses, I had to cancel 2 winter trips so it had been a year since I got to go, whew, I needed it.

Now, my Vegas is a place I go to RELAX. I am not a party guy but love to play slots and 3 card poker. I love the pools and most of my meals are buffets, I know but I love em.

Trip started nicely. SW was on time and grabbed the Belltran to Paris. I have never stayed there before but a comp offer made me give it a try. As I was checking in I asked for a Red room and got it thanks to advise from LVA, I knew they were the rooms to get.

First stop, the pool, its only 1:30, but what the heck, its raining! here! I have been coming here for years and have never seen it rain. I thought at first it was some kind of new misting system but the thunder convinced me other wise, so back to the room to change. Went down to play some 3 card and lost, quickly. dang rain and losing in the same hour...sheesh.

I thought I would try the buffet for dinner. Used the LVA coupon and found it to be ok. Not great, but not bad.
Headed over to check out cosmo. Very nice. Played there just to get on their radar. Nothing big but put some good points on the card, maybe they will send me a good offer. Day 1 over.

Day 2 I was up at 5 a.m. Wide awake, so went dow for some 3 card and ended up over $300. thats more like it. Went over to PH for the breakfast buffet, thanks to the coupon, again good but not great.
Spent most the day at the pool, relaxing, napping and decided to try Cosmos buffet for dinner. Turned out to be a very good buffet, expensive but good. I don't thinks its Bellagio or Wynn great but good.

Day 3 moved over to Bellagio for 3 days comped, room, food and 250 free play, great offer for me.
Bellagio is my favorite place to stay, I have stayed there countless time and have always had a great time. They are a few steps ahead of everyone IMO. They have my favorite buffet by far and again I was not disappointed. GREAT! had several meals there.

Gambling was not great, not bad but not great until my last night. I sat down at a penny machine just to kill some time. It was called Fortunes of the Caribbian or something like that, Four hours later I finally just had to call it a night. I could not stay awake but everytime I was about to cash out I would get another bonus. Ended up putting over 5000 points on my card and finally cashed out over 2500, good night.
I love the Bellagio!!!!!

SW flight home on time again. Love SW except for the cramped seats.

All in All a good trip, hopefully it won't be another year until I can return.

Nice trip and i like the report being straight to the point.
Sounds like a pretty good trip! Thanks for posting.
Nicely done, sounds like a winning trip, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the report; congrats on the win!
Don't you just shake your head when you lose on "better" games then win in back on a penny machine? I've done it time and time again, lose on good VP then win on pennies. Go figure!

You did good with the Paris Red Rooms, they are great rooms. Welcome back to Vegas!

I love Bellagio too. Great ambiance.
Glad you had a good time.
Can't beat Bellagio. I have good luck there as well - and I love the pennies (and drinks at Fontanta watching the Fountain show) especially! Great report, thanks for sharing!
Very nice, nonsense! Thanks for the report and great going on the nice wins!

As for rain in LV in July, actually usually in July and August they get the Monsoonal Flow from Mexico and that can cause some hard rain and even some Flash Flooding in some areas.

Actually, people need to keep in mind that when it rains, Do Not Park in Imperial Palace's parking lot because it is part of the Flamingo Wash and it can (and does) get flooded at times when it rains.

i've heard that but always go in july and have never seen it. As for IP, i must say i walked in there once years ago and shall never return..lololol
