Pre-Trip Report "Birthday with Celine"

This will be my first Birthday Vegas trip.. Very low budget trip. I am going to visit casinos I have not been to, enjoy frozen bananas, deep fried twinkies, Groupons, and coupons!

Flying from Toledo, Ohio via Chicago on American Airlines.

I am hoping I don't regret staying at Terribles for 7 days...

Sounds like you have the option to move to MBay for 2 nights, so that can change things up considerably for you! I absolutely love Terribles, the tower rooms are nice, especially the first floor ones with private patios overlooking the pool area. These are some of my fave rooms in LV, really enjoy the patios.

Great suggestion Diane... I just called Terribles front desk and they said to call 2 days before my trip to "block" a patio room for me. I agree the private patio sounds amazing! I am thinking I will stay at the Mandy for my last 2 nights for a change of pace. Their bathrooms and beds are awesome.

Terribles rooms are ok and the cafe is great. The casino is cramped, but ok. Good restaurants across the street and the Hard Rock is just down the street. Also located about a half mile south of Terribles on the same side of Paradise (although easier to find on Swenson) is the Double Down Saloon. If you've never been, make it a point to stop in.
