Pretty Pretty Mart[e's Revenge Feb 28-March 5 2021

We are Bobby BoVegas BW 81 & Pretty Pretty Martie MJ 65 retired 3 + years in Smithville Texas after 50 + years in South Austin.. This is our first trip to Vegas in 2021 , after 1 trip in 2020.

Anything we say that seems negative we apoligize , we love Vegas, these comments are observations & should not  be taken as major criticisms.

 Transportation   From Smithville to Bergstrom Int, Austin & return we used Carter Shuttle, Billy & his employees are A+ Our flight was with Southwest $340, great  price. Used Pesidental Limo from Vegas airport to The & return., good job.

Lodging  Staying at TheD,, Derek Stevens took us from 6 nights comped to 2 nights comped  &buy 1 get 1 free also sameo sameo thru July, your $ big guy you do as you wish.. Room and service was very good as usual.

Food   Used comps for coffee bar & 1 meal at Circa, 3 meals at McDonalds, 1 at Magnolias at 4 Qs, Mc Ds good, Magolias very good, 2 sandwiches , chips, picles 2 drinks at Circa $53 duh.

Gambling   this is the theme of this trip, we came back with 75% of our gambling budget thanks to MJ, the lady kicked butt, a $1200 hit on Golden Buffalos at Flaming, & the whole trip pounding Lepracoins at The D, the pretty lady had a special touch the whole trip. BW poor little skinny legged guy super sucked all trip, best shots were $1 straight flush, & 9 4 of a kind , most of the.25 variety, & only 1 craps session ,his bad. Both The D vue Bar & 4 Qs Kings bar were no up their usual good pays.

Random Thoughts

-Next trip probably May

-Will use SW Airlines because of more flexibility

-Will use Carter Shuttle & Presidental Limo very reliable

-Probably stay on Strip at Flamingo but also visit downtown

- Gambled at The D, 4qs, Fremont, Golden Nugget, Golden 

Gate, C irca, & Flamingo

-Saw 1 Light show my bad

-All service downtown & Strip good

-All bartenders & coctail service good

-Circa very flashy , lots of glitz, sports book impressive but to pay to sit in it $$ Duh, yes some free seats but no

-Strong smell of MJ dowtown don't use but not against use

-Downtown getting rougher crowd each trip, 

- Both D & 4 Qs allowed panhandlers in casino, were hit up numerous times

-D still very loud music

-Need to increase craps play next time find $10 tables

-Find another table game to play

-BW too much Makers Mark one afternoon & evening Bad Boy Bad Boy

-Fun trip Bw needs to pick up his Gambling wins

  Do downtown casinos check ID at the door?

I wonder if the D is going to bring back the coffee shop they had on the second floor. I really liked that place and it was always busy.

I don't plan to go to LV until Dec. for rodeo...probably at the D.

You said nothing negative, IMHO, Bobby.  Very nice TR (except for your lack of winnings, but Pretty Martie covered you for that).   Good for her!  Maybe since you made your presence known this trip Mr. D will reinstate more comped nights.  To me going home with 3/4 of the budget is a win!

Too much Makers Mark one evening/afternoon?  Kid stuff, Bobby.  Did Security have to push you to your room in a wheelchair?  If not, then I've got you beat, though mine was White Russians, no ice, I forget how many, but many.  I detailed that event several TRs ago.  Felt fine until I stood up from the BJ table, then "whooooaaaaahhh."  Dealer didn't miss a beat before calling for someone to transport me.  Thankfully they got me to my room and into the BR before the worst of the effects.  Lovely memory...but I digress.

I've gotten bold and crotchety in my advancing age, so I would have complained to management about those panhandlers, again and again, all shifts even if I only see one.  Make 'em have to bring it up at the next staff meeting.  I think nothing they can do outside, but inside...different story.  They can make that call.  Maybe they thought more bodies would make it look like more customers, LOL.  If you get one of those online surveys to fill out, do so.   Mark some categories less than "10" more like "7" so they pay attention.

Southwest Airlines still rocks, though they will REALLY rock once they reinstate drink service.

May is perfect for a Vegas visit.  Glad you had your lucky pretty Martie along for his one.  

The next one will be yours for the $$$.

Blonde4ver we were told no coffee bar or restaurant on second floor, David Cowboy Christmas in Vegas is super coool. Candy keep your winning streak going. Betting sidebar as of 7 pm Texas time my March Madness Bracket is 23 wins 23 losses, good thing I wasn't in Vegas, I would be playing 5 cent Video poker. Again Thanks for your comments.
