Yeah, MSS may be the greatest casualty of the COVID era; everyone has been tightening up, but this was ridiculous, hardly any playable VP left in the place.

I refuse to blame Vegas turning into a value wasteland on covid. It's just a process that was already well along when the pandemic hit. Every day the casinos didn't make the money they felt they had a right to, they mentally banked that and said, "We'll get it all back from those idiot suckers." And not gradually, either: all at once!
And whaddya know, as if on cue, the lemmings have come roaring back, frantically waving bags of money, pushing and shoving for the privilege of getting screwed.
So while the casinos have been the primary cause of the gougefest, the nimrods and numbnuts who haven't had the sense to stay away are complicit.
Curious, have any of those posting here been back to Vegas during the pandemic? If so, does that make them a lemming, nimrod or a numbnut? Or are they above the fray?
David, some people have been smart enough to take advantage of the few remaining good deals out there. I'm one of them. But the vast majority of Vegas visitors don't care, and that fuels the gougefest.
Agree. It's simply business, the casinos are gouging because they can. Maybe I shouldn't even say that COVID is the excuse, but I think the gouging has accelerated as more and more people have beem jonesing for their gambling fix. Kevin is right, though, you can still find value (as I think we did), even though it's gotten even harder lately.
