Putting Things in Perspective

Wow I am so sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom and dad also loved vegas. Mom passed away a few years ago. Dad is getting weaker but still with us at 87. Again so sorry.

So sorry for your loss, but how bittersweet that you were in a town that he knew you would love! :/

I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through

In that small cafe
The park across the way
The children's carousel
The chestnut tree
The wishing well

I'll be seeing you

In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll find you in the morning sun

And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you

That's very nice of you noahcat.

The last time I talked to my dad, he had me lay a sports bet for him. I had the betting slip in my wallet and looked at the score from last week and sure enough, it was a winner.
Wow! Thanks vegasvp for your report and I send you my condolences on the loss of your father!

So sorry for your loss. I'm glad you were able to fly out right away.Don't stop making bets for him; he'll always be with you.
So sorry to hear about your loss. You can still talk to him anytime, you just won't need to use the phone.

I had a total of one vegas trip with dad. we played a family tennis tourney out back of the flamingo. He was too old, but sat and chapped all our a^^^es about how badly we played. But there is a lotta well wishers here, and i can tell people respond to you as a good person, so I'm confident you have more support in your local area. Keep your chin up.
Thanks for posting your trip report. Although it had a very sad ending! I am so sorry for your loss. It is good to know that your Dad has spent time with you in Vegas, so when you visit you will think about the fun times with him.
