i'm sure i have said louis is my bestest bestest friend.
he's 7 harrahs, and he was offered cubs/cardinals for 8 last weekend.
i am about 6 on the list.
left milwaukee 7-ish friday. 48 minute flight. met with two limos. bring us to Lu'miere for two nights.
we are: wayne, tom, rick, nick, another tom. lou, joe and his lady friend. they are 70's.
arrived friday. gamboled a bit. hit the room at 12:30 am. lost at vp today. $'s are OK. quarters
are 6/5 bonus. of course i was tired and played quarters.....lost. just remembered. i went to the
stadium bar for something to eat. ordered the prime rib sandwich etc. terrible. go to the oriental
place and eat light.
saturday. it was a longish day. tom and i went to the buffet. about $13 per. we had our juice, coffee,
omelets, biscuits and gravy, whatever. it was what we needed.
went to gambol. hit the $5 craps table. $5 craps is nice. you can load it up for $40. i had two good sessions this trip. i think this is my first one. I won $450.
the hook at these crap games is you can bet that all the numbers will be hit on the shooter's roll. you
don't have to establish the number. just hit it. there are three sections for the bet. left and right pay
something like 34-1. left numbers are 1thru 6. right is 7 thru 12. if you bet left, right, all numbers,
you get paid 34, 34 and 174 for a $1 bet if all the numbers are rolled before the devil comes up. before i was
there tom said all the numbers hit twice.
after gamboling we rode the limos to the cardinals stadium about an hour before the game. we are sponsored
by pinnacle gaming. we were in their suite. there was baseball food of brats, hot dogs etc. not very good.
the suite was in the right field corner. about 24 stadium seats. the inside suite with TV and the food, and then four nice picnic seats outside the suite. that's where i sat. i talked to somebody whose wife is a big
bj player out of chicago that they get these trips. she was busy and sent him to the game. they were
both happy.
about the 6th inning i ordered the golf cart for joe and friends. golf cart was great for them. limos were
waiting for us.
took us to the new river city casino. this is a a very nice place and massive. it will be our new home
with pinnacle.
i started playing $10 craps and lost $200. went to $5 bj and lost another $200.
went to the $5 craps table with my last $60 and had a blast. bet all the numbers for
$10 and had five good rollers. me, wayne, had my 5 up to $75. that's how well they
were shooting.
during my session the pit boss came over and asked if our group wanted to go to
their burger bar. i said i'd love to but have to leave in in bit.
rick came up and said our ride from security was there and we had to leave. i had
all the numbers covered. the shooter was still shooting when i cashed out.
who knows. taking down my place bets when i bought in for 60 i netted 590.
if i stayed i might not have this much.
went back to lu'miere. i think i played a bit. then went to the stadium bar for my last beer for the night.
1:30 comes around and I'm about to leave and look to my left and see the cubs manager having a burger
and a soda. man, what these guys have to go through. he's an old milwaukee player, and i told him the cubs
will be good in two years. i left and didn't wait for a response.
hit the hay at 1:30. went to play craps in the morning about 10:00. i am gassed. no energy at the table.lost here. played vp and lost. played craps again and won.
I am the big winner with $100. the rest not so much.
