Recent LVH stay-Super bowl weekend

We were comped a room for 4 nights and upgraded to the Resorts Club room for $25 addl per night. The Resorts club rooms are in the North Tower which I had heard had been renovated recently. Our room hadn't been renovated so I'm not sure if any of the Resorts club rooms were renovated.

Room has nice beds, robes and slippers, free printer(bring your own paper), tub/shower combo, small fridge, and flat screen tv(sorry I didn't measure it) small table with 2 chairs and 1 stuffed chair.

Resorts Club lounge comes with Resorts Club rooms. Opens 6am closes 8pm.
Breakfast cold cereal, bowl pkgs. of oatmeal to mix with hot water, fruit, yogurt, danish, a coffee machine with expresso, and tea bags to use with the hot water. Also had orange juice and ice tea and milk(only in morning)

Later in the day offers fruit, cheeses and crackers and the above named beverages.

Evening offers a veggie tray with ranch dressing available, the cheese & crackers, same beverages with the addition of beers and wines available no addl charge & no limit specified.

Available all day in the fridge under the coffee machine are cans of coke, diet coke, sprite, and bottled water.

You don't have to eat in The Resorts Club lounge, you can take it back to your room or where ever you want to eat & drink your selections.

We get up early so never had any issues with not having hot water for showers

All hotel staff and casino staff were friendly. It did get really loud in main casino Sunday during the Superbowl-I purposely stayed out of the Sportsbook during the game.
Sound like that upgrade to the Resorts Room was worth it! Thanks for the report.
I will be staying at the LVH in April has also been comped, will for sure up grade to a resort room. Thank you for the post. Is there anything else I need to know to take advantage of?
AusinB when you check-in, since you are comped, don't wait in the regular check-in line, you should be able to use the VIP check-in which is to the left of hotel registration. There's a door, but it blends in with the wall, so look for the door handle. I'm not a big fan of the "Paradise cafe or the deli in the Sportsbook area. They aren't bad, just never quite what I want and service is slow at the cafe. The Vince Neil place was ok for a margarita and appetizers. I used to like the Mexican restaurant they had, but when the economy turned they closed it. The Steak restaurant was good, a little pricey. Benihana is ok, nothing different than my local Benihana.

If you have freeplay coming as part of your offer, be sure to ask at the players booth when it starts and when it ends. Last time I was there instead of using my freeplay the night we got there, I was going to use it the next day-big mistake it was then Superbowl Saturday and no freeplay was good. They wouldn't budge at all on that. Also if you have freeplay be sure to use it before you check out of the hotel or you lose it.

If you play slots or video poker, LVH lists their 40 Hot slots of the previous week on their website. I keep forgetting to follow it for a few weeks before I go to see if a couple of the same machines are always on the list.

When we stay at LVH we usually get 24 hour monorail passes and eat on the strip for lunch or dinner. If you are playing "Myvegas" the monorail passes are buy one get one and don't count as one of your 3 redemption limit per 30 days. You just take a copy of your redemption printout to the monorail booth and show them the redemption printout and pay for the one and they give you two. The time doesn't start until you run the monorail ticket through the turnstile. Check the Monorail website sometimes they have discounts. Check out 3/14th LVA news for discounts on monorail tickets.

Main entrance and valet parking are off of Paradise.

We usually park in the northside parking garage and use the entrance off of Joe Brown. If you do use that garage, there's an outside elevator for the North tower rooms and we use it to avoid the ground floor foot traffic if we are going to the garage from the room.

If you are planning on upgrading to Resorts Club room you might want to call and request it now as they were not available when we checked in, but as I had already requested one it was held for me.

Have fun.

Nice details on what was my choice of casinos. Fred and I will start harmonizing soon about the 25c progressive upright in the 'book. Good luck!
Thank you the great details. Will definitely call on the resort club room up grade.
Stayed at LVH last week asked for the Resort club room that raisin7 mentioned. Received a room in the North tower, the card that opened the door was gold and that key card also opened the lounge area with continental breakfast, snacks, wine, beer and cheese after 4:00. All free. The view of the strip was fabulous from the lounge. But the best part of the Resort club card was free admission to the spa. The LVH has separate men and women's areas. Three saunas, dry, wet and steam. Jacuzzi was relaxing. They have everything to get ready for your day toothbrush, spray deodorant, blow dryer, hair products...Broke even on casino play so considered the trip a win. Thank you raisin7 for the tip.
Is the upgrade to the Resorts Club rooms always $25 a night? Is is per person or per room?
Access to resort club is per room. It is the room key that allows access. Not sure on cost mine was comped
