You need a rental car, but if you have one, you shouldn't miss this. RR is beautiful, and they stuff the T Bones steakhouse with (huge) $5 cocktails and great appetizers/small plates.
It's 5-7 p.m., everyday, I'm pretty sure. It's packed, and the crowd is lively. You can keep to yourself or strike up a convo, and both go down fine. Get there on time. You can have a fancy -- if not huge -- dinner for $15, and, say, two cocktails, and you leave a nice tip, and you're still out for $30. If you play a lot at the downscale (though Palace Station is a favorite) Stations, you probably have way enough slot points to pay for the whole thing.
Then drive north on 515 to Summerlin Pkwy. Pay real close attention after those drinks, because the view will blow your mind. Sum Pkwy hooks into Route 95, and you can get anywhere from there.
(Reported directly from MSS vaunted WiFi area before I go and blow their VP apart.)
