Thanks for the report. Enjoyed reading of your many eating adventures, most I have never heard of. Sounds like another fun visit to Vegas!
Westie:

Great report as usual.

We stayed at Grandview earlier this month and found it decent. I hear you about getting spoiled having a full-scale kitchen and washer and dryer in suite as well as a separate living room in addition to the bedroom. Grandview is a bit remote from the strip, but being next to Southpoint and not far from the M and GVR makes up for it.

Other than the Venetian, my wife is no longer content staying in a hotel room anymore. So we now typically stay at places like Elara, Palms Place, MGM Signature, Wydham Grand Desert Resort condos, etc.

If you ever have an opportunity and the price is right, try Wyndham Grand Desert Resort Condos near the corner of Koval and Harmon. You can walk to Ellis Island from there, so you could have an extra Merlot or Egg Nog and not have to worry about driving. Condo units there are a notch up from Grandview.

Congrats on the two royals. I know when I play deuces wild I'm not really focusing on royals, but on getting the four deuces. Still when a royal shows up that is made without a deuce, although a surprise, I'll take it.

Thanks for doing all the experimenting, reconnaissance, and trailblazing of the new and off-the-beaten-path restaurants. You are braver than I am in that regard. I do all my gambling in the casinos, not at a seat in restaurant. But no risk no reward. And you have found some hidden gems that few others will ever know about.

Again thanks for the wonderful report.

ST - thanks for reading. We never stay or play on the Strip so remote is pretty subjective. It is interesting that you mention the Wyndham on Harmon since I have been looking at that as an option for next year. I am happy to learn it is a notch up from the Grandview and being within walking distance of Ellis is a bonus since Ellis has NSUD which my wife plays. How long is the walk and is it relatively safe?
Super Report, Great Photos, nice hits
I always love reading your TRs - I just have to remember to be sure I've just eaten, otherwise I find myself grabbing some snacks after a few of those mouth-watering pictures!

From Wyndham Grand (on Harmon near the corner of Koval) walk about 50 steps west on Harmon and cross Harmon to Koval and then it's about 1/4 mile north on Koval. About a 10 minute walk all told. Koval essentially has flat open vacant land on both sides until you get to the Super 8 Motel connected to and owned by Ellis Island, Koval is well lit and has a good amount of vehicle traffic (mostly cabs). Good sidewalks exist on Harmon and Koval.

I've walked it day and night and never had an issue.
