Shreveport Update & Trip

Well...

Went to visit all the casinos to see if there were any changes...

Recent decor updates at Boomtown and Jacks looks much better.
One of those (can't remember which one) had $1 blackjack.

Laura and I were married Nov 4th. Sam's had a bottle of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberrys ready for us!! Nice little suite. Host met us for dinner.

Update: Margaritaville Casino is under construction. The hotel looks like it is near topped out. No parking garage started as yet. It is next to Cabellas across the river from Sam's and El Dorado.

Laura lost this trip after 36 hours straight trying to win the major jackpot on a cashman machine.

I won $50 after many hours playing live poker at the El Dorado.

Torrential rains on the way back to Dallas, lots of wrecks one rollover.

Thanks for writing! We haven't been to Shreve/Bossier in several years but have always had a good time there. Gotta get back there.

I stay at Sam's too - I've been keeping an eye on the Margaritaville construction. Can't wait for it to open.
