And the microwave alleviates the need to stand at the tap and run water forever until it is hot enough. He was kinda whining that he wouldn't have the microwave oven while in Vegas. I asked the Wynn housekeeper if they had a small microwave for medical need, she said "certainly, no problem", and delivered a nice, full size microwave on a cart to the room, no charge. Pleasantly surprised at that.
Thanks for reading!
Candy,
I also do this every morning and I use my Microwave at home as well. When I stayed at the Gold Coast in January, I used the coffee maker. I put a wash cloth in where the coffee goes and then hit the brew button. It worked really well for me. I did have to let the wash cloth cool off a little bit.
Thanks for the report. Congrats on the nice hits.
Wow, the Gold Coast has coffee makers in the room? That seems rare in Vegas, at least on the Strip. But that's a good tip. We find coffee makers (and usually free packs of coffee) in most hotels and motels other than in Vegas.
Thanks, Todd. You must share my husband's eye condition, which clogs up something, not tear ducts but some other openings, which if he doesn't do the washcloth action (or use the drops q2hrs), his eyes are covered over with goo in the mornings.
