Thanks for all of the reporting, I can't tell you invaluable your info has been to me, especially the 7*'s stuff. I also think I will give the Cromwell a try based on your info.

On a side note, I was in the Hot August Nights slot tourney at the Peppermill and the man seated to my right hadn't showered in what smelled like weeks. I had my husband take over pushing the button half way through because I couldn't take it. My score wasn't all that high, so I didn't return for the 2nd session, but it was still fun even with the stinky guy.
I think the closest I've ever come was 10th place, for $250 at the Peppermill many years ago. I've yet to try a VP tournament, but hope to time it right to hit one in Vegas some time.
