Went out to LV with my brother and son for a guys trip. Stayed at Ballys, me and my brother had a jubilee room and my son had a room in the North tower. This is my second time in the jubilee rooms and I really like them. This was a bitter sweet trip for me. You see in June I am having a medical procedure on my heart. Yes I have insurance, but my out of pocket max is extreamly high, so I will be paying off that bill for sometime, which in turn will make this my last trip to LV for some time.
Anyways enough about that. The trip over all was great. We saw the revamped blue man show. Yes they still have some of the old things still in the show, but they have added a lot of new things. We liked it. We also saw carrot top at the luxor. Used my LVA coupon for 25% off. I got to say this was one of the best shows I have seen. He was funny as hell or heck whichever you prefer.
We also tried the Striphouse at Planet Hollywood. The food and service was great, really enjoyed it. I took my brother for his first visit to the Heart Attack grill downtown. Thats probally why I neded a medical procedure on my heart LOL. but kidding aside its not my atreries but the electrical part of my heart that is the problem, so the HAG had nothing to do with it. If your are not familer with the HAG, the rules state if you do not finish all your food, the waitress who is dressed like a nurse gives you a paddeling, which is recorded and uploaded to thier website. We all finished are food, but my son took one for the team and volunteered for a paddeling, since my brother had never been there before.
We did quite a bit of ganbeling. Went over the Cromwell, I realy liked thier casino and had a good time playing there. I guessed it helped since I won 700$ playing let it ride.
We played mostly VP, but also played let it ride and three card poker. My son hit a straight flush on three card on the bonus bet and won 1000$ at the Flamingo.
Anyways, thats some of the highlites. If I do this right, I will be able to add picture of some of our wins to this report.
One last thing that made this trip fun. The day we were leqving were at the airport gate C9 waiting for our flight. I was board so I walked around by gate C12 and found a bank of VP machines. Put in 40$ and started Playing. About 5 minutes in i was dealt the ace of clubs and spades. Held both and drew and BAM! The other two aces with a 4 kicker came up, 2000$. What a way to end a trip, big hit just before you go home.
