Not a trip Report but a Trip Itinerary for 7 Days in Las Vegas Late March 2012
T-6 days and counting:
This trip will be seven days with my wife. I’ll be leaving Sunday 4:30 PM from Manchester, NH via Southwest and getting in at about 9:00 PM. Renting a mid-size using Dollar Express and the “City Special” at $170 (including all charges). We’ll probably do late supper at Mr. Lucky’s at HR and then check-into a one bedroom time-share condo trade at the newly renovated Desert Club Resort behind the Flamingo Hotel on Koval for the week.
Entertainment
This trip will be entertainment heavy: will probably see Big Elvis on Monday; have Absinthe tickets at Caesars for Tuesday night; Gilbert Gottfried tickets at the Riviera Wednesday night; plan to see The Fab (Beatles group) at the Orleans on Thursday night; have tickets to see Garth Brooks on Friday night ; and tickets to see Paul Rogers (lead singer of Bad Company and Free) at the Eastside Cannery on Saturday night. Got ticket discounts for Absinthe and Gottfried via Travelzoo.
During the day, one day will likely visit the Mob Museum (have an online MRB $4.00 per ticket discount printout) May drive out to the new Nevada State Museum and the Hoover Dam bypass bridge. Other days may do the Bellagio Conservatory and Fountain Show.
Gambling
I have matchplays and freeplays (MPs and FPs) from ACG, LVA MRB, and other sources My most extensive coupon run will be near/on strip and include Orleans, Gold Coast, Palms, Tuscany, Terribles Hard Rock, Ellis Island, Riviera, and Circus Circus and may include Wincard deals at Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, and Tropicana. I’ll also do a downtown MP/FP coupon run including Vegas Club, Plaza, Golden Gate, Four Queens, and ElCo. May check out the new “D”.
Besides coupon runs, I plan to spend time playing $0.25 x 10 coin FP Deuces Wild (FPDW) VP at the Rainbow Club Casino in Henderson and $0.25 FPDW and $0.50 to $1.00 Loose Deuces Wild VP at GVR. Also I’ve been practicing Aces & Eights VP so will likely play some at Circus Circus (although up until now my experience with CC has been all around negative). Will also likely play a little Pick’Em VP at The Fremont.
Food
I will likely use LVA MRB 2-for-1 buffet coupons at Mirage and GVR and possibly hit Maggiano’s, Bahama Breeze ($10 off coupon), Grand Luxe, the Peppermill, Le Burger Brasserie (2-for-1), Palm’s 24/7 Café (50% off)), MR. Lucky’s ($10 credit) and Carve at E. Cannery ($50 restaurant.com certificate). But little is written in stone.
