Twin River RI trip

We frequent Twin River in Lincoln RI, as it is not that far to drive, and closer than either Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT.

My game of choice is Video Keno, and I have hit many times on their machines, and often just have an enjoyable night out and come home dead even.

Last night, I was able to hit 4/4 for $200 a few times. Then finally I got my 6/6 for a hand pay of $1400.00 (not really a hand pay, as they release the ticket for you and you need to schlep over to the cashier for your money and W2-G form)

I handed my sister $100 to play with, and she had not been hitting at all, until finally she managed a $500 hit with 8/10 on the dollar machine. Then she moved to pennies and on a .30 bet hit for over $400.

It was a good night all around

We didn't eat there, but they have 2 food courts with the usual types of fast food - Sbarros, Cinnabon, Johnny Rockets burgers, Subway, KFC, a chinese joint, Nathans hot dogs, 2 Dunkin Donuts, Jeet seafood, and a couple of sit down restaurants like Wicked Good pub and a steak house.

For those in the New England area, it's a fun place to visit. Live music every night in the main room - usually horrid - they must search far and wide to find the worst bands, but occasionally they have one that's not too bad.

Thanks for listening. I just had to post, since there are so few trip reports lately. I look forward to them.......
Congrats on the great Luck trip Benue! I also enjoy reading TR's especially when its a winner like yours.
I would play V/keno more often, if I had a buddy who knew what they were doing & could SHOW me. lol
I've seen some super hits on small bets. Glad your sister had a couple good hits too.
Doubt I could find that place on a map.........lol...........but enjoyed reading.
Thanks for the report and congratulations on your Video Keno wins!

I have a friend who plays that and he seems to have done well with it but he does restrict what he plays on.

With 5 spots (which he vastly plays), the 5 spots have to pay at least 810 coins or he won't play it -- 4 spots would have to be paying no less than 91 for him to play on it.

Congrats on the KENO Hits !!!!!!

Just for the record, the odds of hitting 4/4 in KENO is 1:326.44, and hitting 6/6 is 1:7,752.84.

You did really good

Rick

thanks Rick!!!! I know the odds are high, but I have been fortunate to hit 6/6 several times and also 7/7 a few times. I play at the dollar level, and even 6/7 pays $340.00 and really keeps you going.
I have wondered what Twin Rivers was about, so thanks for your post. They are doing a lot of advertising lately on local TV (MA). Super hit(s) on Keno! Hope the next time you go, there's a great band for you to listen to while you count your winnings.....
Yes Krisboyle, lots of ads here in MA for the place. Until we finally get our own casinos up and running, it's a good place for a night out. You should visit it and see if it's to your liking. they are adding table games this spring.
Great job on your luck!!

I used to go to TR as I play Video Poker but they have nothing close to playable. I do look forward to the table games as right now it is a slot parlor.
I agree, their VP pay tables are horrible!!! Now and then I do sit at the nickle ones just to pass the time.
Thanks for the TR. Congrats on the keno wins for you and sister! So nice of you to pass your luck on to her. That's an interesting way to pay with W2-G.
