My son and I headed to Vegas for a quick getaway. We stayed at the Venetian. All 3 nights. Flew Delta both ways. Flights were nice and smooth. They required masks during the flight. The middle seats were empty to help with distancing.
All of the casinos we went to did enforce the mask requirement. Many of the casinos also checked your temperature when entering the property. We did not notice much difference in the Vegas experience while we were there. Biggest issues or differences are as follows. Shows are not going on. You have to double check if the restaurant or casino you are heading to is open. Also at times you will have to wait in line for the elevator. They are only allowing 4 people in the elevator at a time.
We went to the Atomic bomb museum, the Mob museum, and the neon museum. All 3 required and enforced the mask policy. They did well checks and managed social distancing very well. We did the high roller too. They only allowed 4 people in each room. We also went to red rock for a few hours.
Another observation. We did not see any table games downtown or on the strip lower than $10 min. I know that is normal for the strip, but surprised nothing downtown under $10. We were downton on Monday between 8 am and 2 pm.
We did a lot of casino coupons. We did not have any issues redeeming any of the LVA or ACG coupons. Below is the list of mp coupons we used. We also used 3 my vegas coupons 1 $25mp and 2 $25 slot play. The coupon run we ended up $372.
Trip as a whole ended down $158. This was due to my last 2 gambleing sessions. Lost $100 at gold coast. Then $200 at Orleans on the last day before heading to the airport.
All and all the Venetian casino was pretty busy the whole time. It seemed almost like a normal time there besides the mask and less people allowed at each table. When walking on the strip and going to other casnios you could tell that overall there were less people. Still the trip seemed like a normal trip excluding the ability to see a show or two.
