This was anothe great year for us. It started out great with us getting to Vegas at 11:00am instead of 11:40am. We went from airport to car rental to food for less store for a couple of things for the room and checked in at 1:00pm(a new record). We went to the Orleans and did the Pick The Pros contest(of course we lost). We then went to South Point and used an MRB coupon and saw the Las Vegas Tenors. They were great. Then we went to the South Point steak house with the MRB coupon. That was also good.
Sunday we got up and went to Red Rock Canyon. That was awesome. We took some great pictures and we saw a jack rabbit. After we went to Red Rock brunch since we were so close. We used the MRB coupon and paid for it with our Station casino gift card. My wife was talking to the suishi guy and was telling him how they had her favoritesuishi roll. So the guy gave her a whole roll of it. Then we went a did a bunch of win cards. We did better then we usually do with them. That night we went to the Riviera comedy club with the ACG coupon. It was funny.
Monday we went up Mt. Charleston. That was ok. It wasn't what we where expecting. But since we were so close we went over to Aliente Station and turned in our drink and buffet coupon. Also of course we said hi to SUE CASSEY. Then we had to head to the Anthem message school for a 5pm appointment that we each had. That was awesome they did a great job. My wife said we may do this every year( thanks for the suggestion Noahcat). That night we went to the Brad Garrett comedy club with the MRB coupon. Of course Brad Garrett wasn't there. Found out that he was going to be there next week(go figure). That was funny too.
Tuesday we went and checked out the Cosmopolitan for the first time. We found the pizza place(thanks to all the tips from you guys to where it was). We spun the wheel and I won $10 in free play and my wife won a free buffet to wicked spoon. Then we went to North Las Vegas and downtown. We turned in the coupon for $30 free dollars in bingo when you buy $30. We played them on a computer since where given 246 cards to play. I ended up winning on a red card for $150. Then we went to the pawn shop where they film pawn stars. After waiting an hour to get in(because they were taping for the show) we finally got in to look around. I saw Rick and one of the guys he has come in and check on things to see how valuable the item really is. I didn't get to get to close because the camera guy was taping a small clip of the talking. Then they disappered out back and to never be seen again. But it was neat to go in and be in a place that I see on tv and actually see Rick(from a distane of course). Then we went downtown an did our coupons and watched the light show. We also used our MRB coupon and saw Gordie Brown. We were seated in the fifth row seats 1 and 2. That show had been on our to do list for the last 3 years. It was awesome. He's great impersonator.
Wednesday we played some of our match plays and went to Ellis Island and turned in our drink coupons. We went to the Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmo with my wifes comp see won. That was one of the best buffets we've ever eaten at. I loved the cinn. bun and the single serving dishes you get. The desserts were awesome. That night we bought the all stage pass at 5:20pm. We then went to Imperial Palace to see Humane Nature. That was an awesome show. Then we went right next store to Harrahs to see the Improve. That was funny.
Thursday We went to The Hash House A Go Go for breakfast with our 80% off restaurant.com certificates. That place was great! My wife couldn't believe the size of the food on the plates. She took a picture of our plates and texted it to her dad. I couldn't believe she actually ate her whole breakfast!!! Then we turne in some more drink and gambling coupons. Then with our all stage pass we went to see the price is right live. We didn't get up on tage but my wife won 1000 points on her card. Which we found out to be $10 comp and we only had 6 months to use it so we used it up for dinner that night at the burger place at Paris. We turned in our BOGO coupon for the burger place and my wifes $10 comp. So for two burgers it was $2.14!!!!!! that was great. Then we went to the Jubilee show at 10:30pm.
Friday we went to the Green Valley Ranch buffet for breakfast and used our MRB coupon and paid with our gift card. Then we went to Terribles and we each used the $100 coupon in the MRB. Between the two of us we lost only $28 on the deal but we did it on five times points day. Then we went to Ellis Island and turned in our other drinking coupons. We went to the Bellagio to see the fall seen in the garden. That looked great. We went and got tickets for the Eiffel Tower ride with our all stage pass and we were told we had till midnight to use them. Then we went to Harrahs and got tickets with our pass to see Defending the Caveman. We got those tickets with just minutes to spare before the pass expired. That show I thought was going to be boring. But it wasn't it was very funny and enjoyed it a lot. Then we went up the Eiffel Tower ride and watched the water show going on at the Bellagio. If you buy the pass you can get the Eiffel Tower ride ticket and use it anytime during that day.
I almost forgot. We went to Planet Hollywood four different times during the week and did the press your luck game. Your aloud to do it once a day. We got a couple of whammies and was given a shirt and a couple of plastic shot glasses. My wife won a $20gift certificate to Batistas so we went. It was alright in my opinion. She also won $10 in free play. I won a $10, $25, and a $50 free play coupon though out the week (not to bad). We kept track how much we saved in drink and food coupons and we saved $303 for the week. We only spent $120 fof all four coupon books. We didn't even get though all the coupons we only had a week. So we didn't do to bad there. In the end we kept our Las Vegas winnnig streak alive for the fourth year in a row with a $800 win on the week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
