Forgot to mention we redeemed our LVA VP coupons Friday night at The D, so we had 24 hours to build up points. Saturday, I got up and played VP at the bar at Fremont for coffee. Nothing memorable. Wife was not feeling well and stayed in the room. I went to View Bar at the D and played 8/5 BP with the progressives. Started slow but then picked up. I probably played 3 hours there. Then, I headed back to Lanai Express for Oxtail soup. $24.99-used my comp. Excellent! Big bowl of soup with bones with meat, good broth and various onions,mushrooms etc. Came with a bowl of white rice and various hot sauce, shredded garlic, etc. I loved it. Couldn't quite finish it all. Recommended. I decided to head to Plaza. Stopped by Golden Gate to grab free play for their nightly thing. $10. Headed to Plaza. Lost $100 on various VP at Omaha Bar, then played 3 Way Action for awhile. Ended up being dealt quad 2's. No kicker and none came, but nice $480 hit. Headed back to GG. Had 1 beer and used my FP on a Huff N Puff. No luck.
Wife was feeling better by then and was hitting on a Buffalo machine at Fremont. I met her there. We headed to The D. Played a little at Longbar until time to redeem for our FP. I only accrued $35 and she had $15. Our play is weaker there with those pay tables. She got her LVA match play and Say Hello to Matthew match play. BTW they told us only 2 times per year on those and since we got in November, we could only grab once this trip. Anyway, I think we won one, lost one. We didn't stay at the table long. Called it an early night. Will post about Sunday soon. Spoiler: It was a much better day than the rest.
