We had one week in Vegas - 2 nights at Cosmopolitan in terrace studio comped which was fabulous and we were on the 26th floor looking down on the Bamboo pool. 5 nights comped at Flamingo. We ate twice for lunch at Milo's at the Cosmopolitan which is now $22.12 up $2.00 recently. The food is fantastic and worthwhile to go there. Another day we had lunch at Fogo de Chao which is a Brazilian steakhouse just a few blocks west of the strip on Flamingo (before Terribles) on the north side of road. At lunch the price is $29.95 each while dinner is $49.95. You get the same food at lunch so why pay more? Another great dinner was Tuesday night at the Nove Restaurant at The Palms which is Ladies night where you get 50 percent off your bill. Our bill ended up $50.00 each with the discount including tip. If you go to Vegas with a girlfriend it's really a great evening. Of course we also did a fair bit of shopping, naturally, and was able to pack everything and no extra fees for overweight. As far as gambling goes we didn't come home winners but had a great time and did come home with some money left for our next jaunt to Seneca Niagara.
I forgot to mention that we saw 3 different shows. Saturday night we saw Donny & Marie - Amazing show - what great entertainers. Sunday night we went over to Caesar's to see Elton John. He was on the stage for an hour and a half just playing & singing the whole time. Really good show. Our last night in Vegas Friday night we went over to Harrah's to see Defending The Caveman. We thought our mates should have been with us as the material was bang on, you know the Venus & Mars thing. Good, funny show.
