Vegas next week

The CEO and I will visit Vegas next week via comps, tier matches, and gritted teeth. I'll share the bountiful experiences and the largest mistakes upon return. Pray for us ( those so inclined).

Hopefully, the pizza oven won't be fired up just yet. Vegas has already had several 100 degree days, but they were interspersed with periods of almost decent weather. June used to be an ideal month: pool weather, but not birds-bursting-into-flsme-in-midair weather. Now, thanks to that liberal hoax climate change, June can be as unbearable as July and August always have been.

I don't know how and on what you gamble, so I'll just say, I hope you don't get crushed like a bunch of grapes under a steamroller and that your play earns you some future goodies.

I'd pray for you, but the Flying Spaghetti Monster is taking the weekend off. 

No doubt the heat will be intolerable..all that asphalt and concrete as additive influencers., etc. I play VP, blackjack ( 3:2 only w/ tolerable rules), and 9-line progressives. I have industrial armor to cover/ protect my grapes with.

Glad that some tier matches still exist.  I've noticed they don't make big announcements about them; have to search and read the fine print.  I've never scored one.  In May 2024 I found out about a top tier opportunity for BFF at upscale Strip casino, since she plays slots so high.  She rode that wave June - December of 2024 and all through 2025.  End of 2025 she didn't manage to reach the top tier points by year end.  She wonders if her Host will still treat her well, e.g. limo, etc.  We shall see in July.  I think she will because, through some stroke of luck which we have no idea about,  she has had top tx from that Host, big Free Play, limo, high limit entrance and lounge access, for years even before officially reaching the top tier. 

I had that at Bellagio for years, walked in there right after opening just on a whim, never imagined I'd have a home there.  A couple years in Host D approached me, was super to me.  He disappeared mysteriously, I'm without a Host.  Then I got Host M by asking him directly, since I'd be playing dollar 3/5 VP in front of his desk and we chatted a lot.  I'd win all the time, royal flushes, kickers with kickers.  Host M granted me all sorts of perks that my tier score never quite reached, including very nice up front Free Play, Limo, fountain view room/occasional suite.  I'd come in on offers with free nights, certain Free Play, Host M would raise the Free Play, fountain view room/suites occasionally.  Didn't know they could do that.  I hooked my BFF onto him and he was good to her too.   At end of trip he'd clear out any remaining room charges (not that much, if any).  About the time M retired, everything was going down hill at Bellagio including points for VP, eateries going south, VP hits very few, my favorite dealers (also like family) retired or dying, playable tables disappearing.  Host M and I still communicate now and then.  Bellagio had a magical aura for us for years, but not so much now, especially with Host M gone.  Those were the days, but no more.

Yes June hell hot.I go now days for my Birthday.I travel with my adult son.I have tried to talk him into April or May.He insist I go for my actual Birthday.We will do a Alaska cruise in September.That will cool me off.
