Wow, great report. Back in February a lady sitting next to me at the International Bar at the Westgate had a 4 grand handpay on the caveman keno. Not sure how much she was betting or how many spots.
Havent been to Green Valley ranch in awhile. I'll make a point of visiting on my next trip.
I think there is a Del Webb retirement community within walking distance there. Ive always fancied having a winter home in Vegas if I ever get that kinda money. That would be a pretty cool spot.

There's a kind of interesting history about that. About 20 years ago, there was a massive push to develop the Seven Hills area, which is west of Henderson proper (though still technically within city limits). The idea for all of southwest Vegas was just like that for Summerlin--live in a community removed from filthy ol' Vegas but still accessible to it. Live up in the hills and look down at all the twinkly lights. And this being Vegas, the development was to be anchored by casinos--GVR, South Point, M, and much later, Durango. But the Dubya recession and a general lack of enthusiasm for the distant southwest corner of the Valley slowed that all down. Even now, that quadrant is mostly empty space, though it has the 515 running through it.
So GVR has never fulfilled its promise. It's in an upper middle class neighborhood and has great freeway access, but its business is cannibalized by Sunset and Durango. The last couple of times I was in there, I was shocked at how empty it was.
If you want to have a winter home in Vegas, prices should be very very low after a couple of Big Beautiful years.
Great fun.I know your not a strip guy(couple)They have 10x tier match this week.

Thamks for the info Patricia. We still have about 700 dollars in comps with Ceasars, although we rarely play there. We have the credit card and the sportsbook app that keeps our comps from expiring. We used to love playing at Bills and the Flamingo back in the day.
