i am over this trip and will post it. no, it was not nice.
with bruce, tom, rick, and a surprise visit by lou, rick's brother who is 7 stars at harrahs
flew out of milwaukee on sw air 3-19 for three nights at PlanHo. flight was good, although the pilot got
on the mic twice telling the flight staff to fasten up because rough weather was coming up. he was
being careful as there were just the few bumps you get over the rockies.
we were 15 minutes early to vegas.
again, why oh why don't people join dollar. i was there five minutes. one looking over the
car for blemishes
headed to PH. room is not ready. fine by me. went and played vp in the ho and broke even. i walked over
to cosmo to eat their lunch special. I was a half hour early and decided to do it tomorrow. played craps there and lost $125 in ten minutes.
went back to PH and saw lou at the cage getting his $$ that harrahs gave him to come out. he's strictly
a $ slot player. i found all the guys and knew they were settled in; so, i headed once again as i always do to
EI. had their steak and a beer. lost $130 at craps.
headed back to the strip via bill's casino. big elvis was singing. i have to see him every trip. saw someone hit a penny wizard of oz for $1,030. good for them. went to harrahs to see if bartender tom was working in
the sports book. nope. played vp and lost $100.
went to PJ Clarkes for happy hour oysters. first ordered six with a beer. they were very tasty. had
two more just because. for $1 apiece it's a great deal.
finally checked in at 6:15. nice 2114 room looking east towards my ellis island. it's calling me. the guys
are still gambling; so, i head to EI for some pizza. i lost at vp and bj there.
went back to PH and lost at bj. found my friends and bruce is up $6,200 playing bj today.
two more fun-filled days to come.
