Westgate painfull

I started going to Las Vegas in 1988, 2 times a year since 2001. I have always wanted to stay at whats now called Westage, just never worked out. Finally got to stay there during a convention, what a painfull experiance.

1. Checked in, they put us in the North Tower, extremally slow elevators, 20 min to get to room. They put us in a smoking room, elevators so slow we walked down the stairs to get a new room. Again they put us in the north tower in a room where the air conditioner was not working. (114 in Las Vegas). Finally 1 1/2 hours later we got a room in center tower where elevators worked better.

2. We get a mysterious $40 pool charge added to our bill, took 2 days to get that removed. After getting home there was another $24 mystery charge added to bill. We will see what kind of challenge that will be to get removed.

3. And Sids Cafe, the people that walked in just before us got there food before our order was ever taken. 2nd time we waited in line to get seated. Approx 20% of tables not used because they didnt have enough staff. The only people cleaning the tables where the hostess. A major convention at the L.V. convention center and they do not have a properly staffed resturant

4. And those anoying people selling Timeshares.

I will stop here, next time back to the Orleans
yep it sounds like that really sucks. it seems like most of these vegas resorts have no pride in their property and lousy customer service is the norm. I just don't understand it -- they have so much competition, they should be trying to impress us not alienate us.
I hope the conference and the rest of your trip went better.
