Another terrific report, Westie! I enjoyed the detail and the wonderful pictures. I, too, am a resident of Connecticut & a UCONN basketball fan. I watched every game of both the women's and men's teams in the tournament, several times at the cost of much-needed sleep, but it was worth it. I'll have to admit that I didn't think that the men would get past Villanova in the second game, especially after needing overtime to beat St. Joseph's in the opener, but they played great defense & solid team basketball throughout the remainder of the tournament.

I totally agree about UCONN doing the unexpected. Watching games in Las Vegas is more convenient on one hand because of the 3 hour time change. On the negative side, which impacted my plans, was but the weekend games started around 5:30PM.

Congratulations on geting the Dealt Royal Flush as well as the other hits and for coming out with more $ than you started with!

I do remember (since I like to watch all kinds of TV shows about LV) that I have seen Lola's and Forte on some show (such as Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives)!

Congrats on a great trip. I love reading your reports. We were Downtown on April 13th and I also saw Santa, in the same outfit as your photo. He really gets around!
