Where have all the deuces gone?

I apologize for not posting the trip report on this board, but I could not figure out how to post my (google) photos.  Here is the link to the full report covering our latest Las Vegas vacation.

Thanks for your detailed and entertaining trip report! A few observations (my three cents, due to inflation):

1) You seem to have had a disappointing number of mediocre meals (and some good ones, of course). My memories of when I lived in Vegas about 20 years ago are that pretty much every place we dined out was good to excellent; we surmised that because of all the casino food bargains, a non-casino reataurant had to be high quality and high value just to survive. Maybe now, that's not the case?

2) While you did post a -$630 loss, that seems to be pretty much what you might expect when the royal flush gods snub you. (I had a -$1700 weekend once playing .25 Deuces.) And...you did get $250 worth of Wally cards to soothe your pain (I assume that the abovementioned loss didn't factor that in). Sometimes, the value of a casino promo is that of a band-aid to treat the bleeding and mitigate a loss.

3) Good on you for getting regular exercise (though maybe a wee bit too much in your wife's case). It's all too easy to spend too much time vegetating in front of the machines.

I'm afraid that your trip report kinda reinforces my decision to cancel my planned Christmas trip. Though if I develop a hankering for bighorn sheep...

4.5 claps for your report!

What a great trip report!  Thank you so much.

Took my German mother to the Bread Bakery and she was not impressed with the selection or taste of the choices they provided.

Appreciate all of the restaurants and pictures of the food you posted.

So glad to see Westie and his "forks" again.

That black (?) thing in the soup at the Korean Healthy Kitchen is scary looking!  But I'm sure you recognized it and could eat it???

Truly loved your reporting and photographing as always. Maybe next trip you can cross off some of those previous-favorites that disappointed this time.  Better gambling luck next time.

Egg nog...yum!  I always thought that, like pizza, how bad can any eggnog be?
