10,000 Syrian Refugees

Europe is regretting letting in the refugees as they are dealing with their high crime rate. As highlighted, the Syrians are here on the govt teat.

Weren't we told that it would take a year to vet them? So how did 10,000 people come here in less than a year?

The refugee problem was caused by bama's inept foreign policy (the red line)

In the case of the family we sponsored, they spent several months in Turkey, before being relocated to, I believe Cyprus and then Italy. We originally expected them a year ago. They spent over two years in UN sponsored camps being vetted. It might have been closer to three.

I'm pretty sure a substantial part of the hoops family income comes from being a public employee. - WHILE MY WIFE WORKS FOR A LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE MAJORITY OF OUR INCOME COMES FROM ME & I AM CURRENTLY SELF EMPLOYED WORKING FOR SEVERAL COMPANIES & HAVING TO HUSTLE AROUND TO KEEP THE CASH FLOWING

I'm not getting subsidized Obamacare like a lot of people here. (My employer paid insurance is untaxed compensation, a form of subsidy though.) - WHO HERE GETS OBAMACARE?

I've never stiffed my creditors, including the federal and state governments, by declaring bankruptcy like all of the above's favorite candidate - TRUMP HAS NEVER DECLARED BANKRUPTCY OR STIFFED A CREDITOR - A LIE YOU KEEP REPEATING

Trumps privately held companies are currently being used in over 3000 cases for non payment. Not public companies, but his closely held companies. Go through the Atlantic City yellow pages and ask vendors if Trump stiffed them.
The german police reported a 79% increase in refugee crimes in 2015.

The US did a great job in vetting the San Bernadino shooter

Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers and all of that.

I applaud this effort and wish there were more of this. However, is "charity" really the role of government? If so, why don't I get a tax deduction for a portion of my Federal Income taxes if the government's role is to act as a charity?

If the Obamanation wants to bring in folks completely incapable of supporting themselves, I suggest that the Democrat party sponsor them. I think that would end this foolish very quickly. 10,000 people x $30,000 is a quick $300M. Where does the money come from? No wonder we are now a debtor nation.

Luckily, the Clinton Foundation has $2-billion, . . . that's enough for the first 6 years.

Or about 1 week of funding for the Iraq Invasion that destabilized the region and spawned the group Syrian refugees are now running away from. And we know how that effort was paid for - oil revenues or something.

There's nothing more precious than listening to Iraq War cheerleaders complain about credit expenditures.

I'm trying to figure out where you got that impression. It seems that right-wingers here are much more likely to be takers.

  • I'm not on Social Security like BobOrme.
  • I'm not on Medicare like DonDiego. And was there ever a time in his adult life he wasn't supported by a government check? Same with his wife I think. Not me.
  • I'm not receiving hundreds of thousands (millions?) of dollars in federal medical benefits like jatki.
  • I'm pretty sure a substantial part of the hoops family income comes from being a public employee.
  • I'm not getting subsidized Obamacare like a lot of people here. (My employer paid insurance is untaxed compensation, a form of subsidy though.)
  • I don't have a fictional residence in another state to avoid taxes like CowboyKell.
  • I'm not working in a field that is heavily subsidized with tax breaks, like YOU.
  • I've never stiffed my creditors, including the federal and state governments, by declaring bankruptcy like all of the above's favorite candidate.

And I'm assuming most of the above attended public schools, and in Campion's case, even more expensive special education classes. But Donald Trump has made it okay to be on the government dole, right? As long as you're a real American!

  • There's so many things wrong with this post, it's not even funny. How in the world does all this begin to compare with bringing in people (some who probably want to do harm to Americans and at the least do not like us or our way of life) to the any of the above? If there are parts of the above you don't like or agree with, vote the people out and put in ones who will pass laws that are more in line with your thinking. I had zero choice going on Medicare, none, nada and was none to happy with the move. Medicare can be a huge PITA when it comes to dealing with them. I had/have perfectly good insurance until I was FORCED to switch so don't even insinuate I got on the govt. teet by my own doing.

BTW dragging others family members into your lameass post was a class A jerk thing to do,even for you, they're not part of any LVA discussions.

It doesn't compare. Boiler's accusation that I am a "taker" and my response have nothing to do with the subject of this thread. I am awaiting his response.
LOL,I fully expect forkie to next use the neener, neener, neener defense.
