Great read Blonde. Another thing that I like about Plaza is their sports book which might be the biggest sports book downtown. The have some theater type seats which are very comfy. The book is run by William Hill. The hotel has 2 towers and if you can get the north tower it is close to the registration desk which means less walking. I ask for the north tower but I'm always given the south tower where I have to walk across the entire casino floor to get to the elevators. Maybe the north tower is for higher tiered members, not sure though, but the rooms in the south tower are fine. I had a room in the south tower once which had a nice view of the strip. If only Plaza would do away with its resort fee and follow the Cal, MSS, Fremont, and 4 Queens with no resort fee that would be nice. Another thing that the Plaza is missing is a buffet. They had a buffet years ago but not sure what took its place. Oh and Plaza has 2 keno nickel progressive machines (4 coin max) that pays $64,000 for 10 out of 10 numbers by the casino cage/restrooms. It's a nice poor-man's keno game which offers a chance to hit a nice payout.
