I am not inclined to order this. But considering the market price of Black Truffles, Foie Gras, Iberico ham and Kobe, this price isn't stunning at all to me.

UNLESS I was on a generous comp, there is no way I would order this.

OTOH, if I had a big comp to use, I probably would be willing to try it, and if it did not meet my tastes, I'd still have $$ left on the comp to order something else.

I can think of many other rewarding ways I could spend my money.

Resort fees?

Stuff like this act as a red flag to me that some kind of bubble is about to burst. Remember the leadup to 2008 when the strip casinos were trying to one up each other with over the top steak dinners ? Some places were charging $500....and then there was the $1000 cocktail wiith an actual ruby in the glass....yeah, things may be getting a little cray-cray again.
