At Buffets in Vegas I typically leave $5 at table for the wife and myself. I'll leave a similar tip if I order from the tablet, ask for refills from the tablet and pay on the tablet. These restaurants should be able to reduce head count and keep pricing in-line with this technology.
We've encountered those at both pizzeriauno and olive garden (which totally sucks btw), the little check out tablets that is. Still had a personal waiter, but I could definitely see how the tablet will eventually replace waiters as well. The only thing needed is the people to bring the food out to you.
