Wow, how could anyone pass up a bargain like that?? Since I'm a reasonable person, I suggest that $5 of freeplay will not motivate ANYONE to put $500 coin in. Nor will it motivate anyone to buy the MRB.

I'm thinking of an old expression... "lipstick on a pig."
Same broken record every year regarding the MRB.

Buy it.
Don't buy it.

The choice is yours, so quit complaining about it.

Per the vpFREE site:
Video Poker Player's Club

$10-coin-In = 1 Point
Cashback: 100 points = $1 (0.1%)
Earned Comps: 100 points = $2 (0.2%)
Cashback AND Comps
Bounce Back Cash: ???
Discretionary Comps: ???
Marketing Comps: Yes

This information also matches information from "informed" users on other forums.

SLOTS award 1 point for $5.00 coin in.

HTH

well, re the Fitz coupon it MIGHT be worthwhile if they have good vp machines and I don't know if they do but it is pretty much a USELESS coupon for slots.

Lets assume the machines return 92 %.

$500 in slot play will cost you $40 but you get $4.60 back ($5 in FSP lets say has a EV of $4.60 with 92 % return)

Even if I am slightly off in my assumptions THIS IS NOT A COUPON I WILL BE USING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah not to mention I don't think most people would visit the Fitz and put 10,000 coin in(poker) for $100 freeplay. I also think the "monster" push 22 coupon is interesting. All this coupon does is keep someone on the table until they lose their push coupon.
Jesus people...

First off the book is a BONUS (or a perk or whatever you want to call it).
The $37 is charged for a membership in the LVA.

There are two $10 fsp coupons (4Q and ELCO) they are $10 free with no other requirements than to go to the booth and hand them the coupon. If you use those and the two play $10 get $10 offers (Orleans and GC) your MEMBERSHIP costs you -$3 (really more like -$2.90 if you play JOB).

If you ignore ALL the other coupons you are still up $3. As in, you made money.

If you cant see the value in that (or ALL of the other things LVA offers) then move on and quit bitching.
Same defense of the book. Members are only commenting on the value of the book compared to previous years. I renewed this year before the book was posted and am ok with the book. If someone was truly unhappy with the membership all they would have to do is call LVA for a refund.

This is a forum to post views on topics. If you are happy with the book then that's your view. Solo travelers are having a hard time finding the same value with the book as previous years. I use to look forward to my coupon runs each year and the 50% off buffets. Just because you are happy and others aren't no reason to say people are "bitching"

We will have to wait to see if the MRO ever evolves into anything. We had high hopes in 2011 that there would be updated online offers. Again not "bitching" just looking forward to the extra values online. I saved more last year using Groupons in Las Vegas then I did with the MRB. I pay for the membership each year because I look forward to my book after Christmas. I will continue to renew membership for an insider look into Vegas and the bonus book.

Couple a years ago over at the Orleans. I used to 10 dollar free slot play coupon and hit a nickel royal on the third hand played! Cashed out at 231 bucks!

First thing I said was thank you Anthony!

$50 using the $10 El Cortez last year..
Those that look for something to bitch about wait with baited breath for the arrival of the MRB each year. Same complainers every year. If you don't like the product then don't buy it.
