2014 MRB List Posted

The gambling is about equal to last year. Gone are the Alamo FSP and the Casa Di Amore $20 Slot match play. But both those places were not in mainstream gambling locations anyway and a couple of other marginal ones have been added to compensate. So overall I'd rate the gambling as equal to last year.

The buffets are either improved or not as good depending on whether you are a solo diner or not. If you are solo they have improved significantly as you can now get 50% for one on many of them that you couldn't last year. On the other hand if you are not solo, you can't use some of this year's buffet coupons on Friday and Saturday, which last year you could. But for non-solos the Rio 2-for-1 is back. Also for solos or non-solos you can now get 50% off entrée at Trop restaurants, and 2-for 1 at Pizza Rock which weren’t there last year.

Glad to see the Palms 50% is still there although the number of venues at which it can it used are reported to be narrowing (not the fault of LVA but the Palms)

So I’d say overall the MRB is a slight improvement for solos over last year, and a draw for non-solos.

Bumping this up in hopes of getting an answer. I'm not a current member so the link doesn't do me any good. Thanks in advance.

The LVA Casino is our social casino currently in beta testing. You don't have to be a member to play. It's free and we'll be running lots of tournaments (poker, blackjack, and slots) for LVA memberships, books, software, and casino prizes, plus cash. All legal. Everyone gets $250,000 in chips to start, and the MRB offer is for a bonus $250,000. Even though it's in testing, you can go there now by logging on to play.lasvegasadvisor.com. We have tournaments today at 2, 3, and 4 pm PST and they're a lot of fun, if sometimes a little glitchy. We hope to open to the public in late Jan. or early Feb.
