24/7 Private Vaults robbed

Anthony Curtis is the only one reporting this story (Today's News section although it seemed to happen yesterday or the night of 4/15)) and I would think this is a HUGE story. Has anyone heard about it or seen it on any other news?
The web-site for 24/7 Private Vaults is interesting. It seems the chief advantage is "untraceable privacy".

The "Service Guarantee" states:
"At 24-7 Private Vaults, we guarantee untraceable protection, because we never know your name. We never keep a paper trail. No social security number needed. You and only you are given 24 hour access to your vault and / or box. Only you can access your valuables by using the iris scanner. We provide live 24 hour security. We guarantee the confidentiality of your beneficiary or trustee with complete anonymity."

The home page states they are "bonded and insured"; but DonDiego wonders how the contents of the vaults or deposit-boxes can be insured, since they don't know the contents.

EDITED TO ADD

There's already a lively discussion of this event ongoing at Wizard of Vegas
Hi walt and marcia!!
Wow - Thanks Don Diego - that sure made for interesting reading. We never saw any coverage on the channel 8 news or website. Guess Mr. Eliot won't be doing all those commercials on our local radio channels for awhile.
Hi Bob - look at the number of your posts - 10,000 coming up!

I'm getting suspicious about the lack of coverage about this theft in either the LVRJ or LVSun. Vegas' papers know that the public craves news of things like this, yet both are silent?

Maybe it's not true.
I have been checking the mainstream media - nothing!

Interesting indeed. Includes posts from an ex-felon employee and also a DavidMatthews Posting..I'm guessing that's the David Matthews who used to be our esteemed Web Master at LVA???

Cool, so some TV stations apparently received a police news release this afternoon.

Remains weird that, as of now, neither newspaper has reported this story, and that Metro hasn't posted the release.
First thought...inside job for sure.
