25000 free rapid rewards points

Signed up for 1 of southwests partner programs. The deal was if you changed electicity suppliers they would give you 25000 rapid rewards points. Since our electric bill isn't much anyway I figured what the hell. Points showed up in my account today. Looks like my next airfare to vegas is free! Gotta love that!

I signed up also, but I only got 12,500 points and that's after I'm on svc w/them for 2 months. One more month to go

I had no idea that you could choose who supplies electricity. We only have one provider. My power bill runs me 160 per month on the budget plan (what I used last year spread evenly over this year) for a small house with all electric appliances and heat. What do people pay in areas that have competition if you don't mind my asking?

I live in NY. We have new york state electric and gas as our utility company. We are able to choose what company we would like to supply our electricity to nyseg. My bill runs around 110 a month. It hasn't changed any since I changed suppliers and now I have 25k in rapid rewards points to boot. Couldn't pass it up.
