A couple of years ago, the County Legislature agreed to allow day campers from NYC use parts of our parks a few days a week. It turned out those camps were all controlled by Jacobs. He was set to profit over a half million dollars by leasing our parks to his camps. All a big misunderstanding. He has his hands in so many day camps he didn't realize the camps in question were his.
