I just returned from my 2nd trip to Caesars with Cosmo the wonder dog.
First thread here:
We stayed in Trip Report with Cosmo the dog
The biggest difference this time was... Its the END OF JUNE, so its HOT.
The first thing I noticed was it was about 100 degrees when we arrived. Cosmo needed to peepee, so I took him out to the dog walk area. But I recalled, it is the artificial grass with absolutely no shade. The sun was blazing, he walked directly to the gated grass area to only start jumping up because it was simply just way too hot. I tried taking him into a small shaded area behind the caged in area and he eventually peed there.
They did not bring by any doggie stuff to the room. They did know he was staying in the room because the maids never once knocked on the door which was awesome! Last time I had to call them to bring up the goodies. I did not call this time though...
They really need to put some kind of covering over the doggie area. A tented covering would be awesome. It would help so much. I ended up waking up early to walk him before the sun started blazing, and didn't walk him again till sunset.
Everyone he walked pass smiled and said AWWWWWWWWW. Lots of people asked to pet him and it looked like it made their day.
As far as the rest of the trip... Did not play much, but it was a nice relaxing trip.
