There is good pizza everywhere
At less than $9 for a pizza, Billy's not trying very hard to find a "good pizza". My friends with lots of money tend to spend $30 for a pizza.

I'm still trying to find good pizza here. My favorite is Joe's NY Pizza, but it's over by the Hard Rock and not convenient. Figured this was a good chance to try two pies at a decent price. Now I'll just keep looking in Henderson. Papa Murphy's take and bake is pretty good.

Pizza Rock is the best in Vegas (2 locations- GVR or across from the Downtown Grand). If you disagree then you are dead to me.
Lol, to me, the question at hand is a good cheap take home or delivery. We are not talking about going to a restaurant. Grabbing a ten dollar, I don't want to cook dinner or have company and hanging by the pool, playing games or watching football kind of pizza. We also have a local style of pizza at home that other region has. Many years again, I saw a special about pizza cook off. There were four regions. Chicago, New York, California and Ohio. Ohio had the most pizza per capita than any other place and let me tell you. It's true. And as for California or Brick oven pizza type places, basically anywhere that will put artichoke on pizza, most Ohio people won't classify that as pizza. my price point to a take out pizza is ten bucks, but our local pizza at home that is the number one for probably 30 years, cash only and in the poorest of neighborhoods with no delivery and he makes money hand over fist. Regular guy that he and his three brothers opened shops in three other small towns and I know people that take family innother states a pizza or when we are home order as soon we get home. They have raised theirs to $12.10 or so I think. I never to do the pick up and we rarely order just one of something. And a basic pizza is pepporoni mushroom.

Agreed. I went there on my April and September trips. We got the Butcher pizza. Great beers too.
my go to spot is Joe's NY Pizza. It's on Paradise right across from Hard Rock in a plaza. I'd put their slices up against Pizza Rock...and they don't cost as much

I don't think I've ever spent $30 on a pizza. I understand some Chicago style places can run that high, but a great NY Pizza doesn't. Even at Joe's NY Pizza, with its strip inspired high prices, a lasagna pie barely cracks $20, and a white or a traditional pie is just under it. I generally like two toppings and extra cheese. Easily found under $20.

I'm witch ya'. Any pizza that has saffron infused anything or salmon isn't pizza just beer should taste like beer. Not pumpkin, not blueberry, just beer. I grew up around Dayton and there was only Cassano's until Marion's came along which is hands down the the best pizza around (and I'm a pizza nut). I also love NY pizza and fortunate enought o have one of the best chains here in NO VA.
