3 winning tickets sold in MegaMillion

Maryland, Kansas and Illinois. each will get something like $213 mill before the taxes and such.

Kind of happy that more than one get to share the prize.

You'd think that with one third of the tickets being sold in Calif., and probably almost as much being sold in NY, that at least one winner would have been from those states.

Did anyone see pictures from Primm (Stateline) at how long the lines were? I think if I lived in Vegas and a high Mega Milllions was forecast, that I would rather spend an extra 45 minutes on the road and drive to Laughlin and go across the river to Bullhead City to buy my tickets. From what I remember, Arizona has the MegaMillions jackpot also. I'm sure the lines were no where near as long in Bullhead City. Not only that, but they have more than one outlet selling tickets.

Matter of fact, Arizona handle not only the Mega, but the Powerball also.

It's a travesty !

No one in Appalachia shares in the Big Prize !

DonDiego was hoping that, at the least, his neighbor 'cross the hill in the woods would've won, say, the $250,000 2nd prize. He'd sure appreciate that if'n he'd'a won that he'd'a replaced the lead piping in his still with copper, . . . as a comfort for DonDiego's fast-approaching senior years.

Hmmm, i'm starting to suspect you might not be be a resident of Appalachia at all, perhaps you might be one of them west coasters who likes to troll around and POSE as a true person of the mountains. Better be careful, the troll police around here is quick and will accuse you of being a troll for the slighest impropriety such as stealing your wifes roto tiller outta the shed if the shed didn't seem large enough to hold it.

Now, DD ain't neva claimed to be a true mountain man. I suspect his neighbor don't even have a still. And, if he did, I suspect his neighbor don't fully trust that there grey headed yankee with the purdy wife who gots all her teeth and their high falut'n su-bay-roo automobile.

Anybody following this story with the crazy lady in MD who bought the ticket separate from the group buy and won't share it; then she misplaced the ticket & is now claiming she hid the ticket in the McDonalds she works at.

Adding to the mystery is that nobody has come forward with the MD ticket yet.
