but I will add... that when you are holding the cards for a royal on a multi line machine you do have extra chances to hit the royal. the obvious example is when you are dealt four to the royal. but on each line on a hundred play machine just as on a single line machine, your chance of drawing is still 1/47.

The results are RANDOM. They are just as random when you play a multiline machine. How can you NOT understand that?? That means there won't be any more nor fewer royals among the results.

mrmarcus, who said results are not random? I think the points that we all agree on are:

1. all vp is random
2. if you get a royal draw on a multi line machine, you have more chances to fill in the royal, and each hand is an independent play
3. if you hold a non royal draw hand on a multi line machine (for example, KK) you have zero chances for drawing any royal

So what's left to discuss here?

And none of us can be blamed for your poor reading comprehension skills.

Actually, using correct strategy, you have a better chance of hitting 1 royal in 100 hands on a single play, and a better chance of multiple royals on 1 hand of 100 play.

This is the exact same error slapinfunk is making. Your chance of making multiple royals in 100 end results is incredibly small, and it doesn't matter how many lines you play. What part of the word RANDOM are you all having so much trouble with?? If you could affect the odds by playing more lines, IT WOULDN'T BE RANDOM.

suppose you are dealt 4 to the royal. on a single line machine you have a one in 47 chance of completing the royal.

on a 100 play machine, when dealt 4 to the royal, you still have a 1/47 chance of completing a royal on any one line.

but given 100 chances, it appears you have a greater chance of getting more royals even though each line is an independent trial.
